it has a very active religious society. LUMS is famous for its western secular values but in reality you will find all kinds of people there. I started Niqaab in LUMS thanks to the efforts of LRS. So did many of my friends. If it wasnt for LUMS, we wouldnt have developed such a bond with our religion.

This story is contemplating surah Asr. Which explains that the time is running short and human being are getting drowned, going through a bigg loss. The reason the shackles are shown in the boy’s dream along with drowning is, because, it is the duty of every Muslim, to make the other person realise, about his deen as it is not a single journey to jannah, otherwise you would also be drowned along with others. Nauman ali khan has beautifully explained surah asr. It is a must must watch video if you haven’t watched it yet!

Back in the days when I started learning more about islam 7:47 is the exact concept that struck me the most that all of us are chained together. If I want to succeed in the Akhirah I need to work on everyone around me as well which is also the concept of Dawah. If we think that being a good Muslim alone and not contributing towards other people to let them know the truth (Islam) can fetch success in Akhirah then that's not the truth. This message is beautifully portrayed in this film.

So, in the future, don't disregard a friend's advice to pray on time, avoid sinful gatherings, or end a haram relationship.That reminder comes directly from Allah.

My great-grandmother constantly still says to me "juand da jami mazigar day" in Pushto. which translates as, "Life is nothing more than an evening in the winter, or an Asar. That life is so brief, the opportunity to act morally will pass before you know it. We hardly ever have time in our hectic life to pray our Asar on time on a winter's evening. Thus, we don't have much time left to act morally, or do what Allah has asked of us. If not, the sun will set, leaving you with no more time for Asar or pleading with Allah for pardon. Hamare pass wakt kum hai portrays this life so brilliantly because we waste time thinking we have lots of it but its actually fleeting and before we know it,its time to go back to our lord - time is an asset and we need to utilise it efficiently. I love how beautifully it captures the concept of time as well🤌🏻that despite our efforts to use it wisely, the moments of غفلت، آرام and دنیاوی افکار are inevitable. In the end, we're left with only fragments of our good deeds, while time keeps flowing continuously, urging us forward 8:47 It’s never a one-to-one exchange of good deeds for moments in time. Despair might hit us sometime, as if we can’t do anything but still Allah reminds us that moments spent with emaan in our hearts, being mindful of HIM in our actions, and considering the well-being of others in matters of deen یہاں تک کہ جب یہ گناہگار جان کچھ نہ کرسکے تو اس دل کا بس صبر کر جانا بھی... کامیابی ہے۔
