Hello! Here is Necluda's video which means there's only one region left. I overrecorded footage for this one so I decided to extend it. Enjoy your week! Edit: Just noticed audio gets a bit distracting around 19:40 and 48:30, not too sure what happened there.

The item pick up sound and links climbing noises are just nostalgic to me in a way- even though I play this game like crazy it's mainly with the sound at zero so when I heard the item pick up noise I kinda just went like "oh yeahhhh"

Link's a fucking madman. He wakes up from a hundred year slumber and he immediately starts climbing mountains and killing monsters. He never gets cramps or backaches and he's able to basically run across an entire country without serious long-term effects. He doesn't even need to actually sleep, he only does it to pass the time or heal in rare occasions, but he doesn't actually get tired. If I were Ganon I'd just dip out lol.

It's so wild--the game isn't even THAT old, and I only got around to playing it in 2021, but hearing Kass's music in the distance growing louder already gives me the same sort of nostalgia that hearing the Song of Storms upon entering the Kakariko Windmill in Ocarina of Time gives me from playing it as a kid. Nintendo definitely knows what they're doing!

I associate Gerudo desert/town with the summer of 2017 cuz I had no A/C so it was SO hot. I remember when I went to the desert and had no protection from heat, Link would do that dazed heat exhaustion animation; I remember thinking “me too, Link. Me too.”

That's because nostalgia for old games isn't really nostalgia... it's memories of those games literally being that good! I've played games from before my time recently, and I got "nostalgia," for them. It's not nostalgia! As you said, Nintendo knows what they are doing!!!

I started countless playthroughs of BOTW, and I always look forward to going to Hateno for the first time. Riding up that hill, seeing the windmills ... man, Hateno is a beautiful village. As someone who is from the European countryside, I guess it kinda resonates with me most of all the settlements. Not saying it is a super accurate portrayal, but they nailed the atmosphere for me. minor spoilers for TOTK ahead which makes the collective brain damage of the inhabitants who do not remember Link and the fact that he gets his house taken away all the more infuriating in TOTK. Not even Bolson remembers Link, which is double-ridiculous, and actually a continuity error, given that the house still stands. Meaning Link has to have intervened and bought it.

I love this area so much. I know it's probably one of the least popular since it's one of the last ones, but I always feel so safe in hateno village, it's like home honestly. I mean that's mainly because of the house you can buy there, but like,, it really is such a wonderful little village. I don't get the same safe homey feeling in any other village -- except for perhaps gerudo town but that's not the same. I do like it there though

@khloeg16492 жыл бұрын
@@q.b.3828 it's a nice place to store the champions' weapons so they're not taking up slots in your inventory and you don't accidentally use them. it's also just... a free place to sleep, yk, you don't have to keep paying for inns or making link sit at campfires to pass the night by. once you pay for it and then all the upgrades for it it's a cute little house, I like it. there's also!! there's a theory that the house actually used to belong to link's family and that he used to live there, he just doesn't remember -- since there's talk about the owner going off to fight and then never coming back, so fans think that was his father, who is said to have also been a royal guard -- "your path seems to mirror your father's." so as the previous commenter said, you can't do much with the house, but it's yours. if you have the dlc and you go through the whole story of it, you get a picture of the champions that you can hang up in link's house, there's a cutscene for it and everything. it's very cute but also sad

Zelda BotW sound ambience is master level. I miss the bold, driving, catchy tunes of the past, but what they did and how well it all blended together is....wow, I don't even know how they did it love the moving bgs on this vid, btw, compared to most music vids with just still images, fun and helps capture the mood. The BotW world build is so impressive. I like to say it's one of the few open world games that I actually WANT to look around and explore in. It's just so dang big though! Moving a mite bit faster, and if horse movement was easier, would've helped
