Lunalight Fusion DLV MAX DEC 2024 | Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel

Another Duelist Cup, another DLV MAX. I'll be quite honest, this Duelist Cup produced very little duels worth showcasing so I actually had to farm duels post DLV MAX and it was still very hard afterwards. Just very one-sided duels or very degenerate strategies being used, especially in later levels. It's as close to a "FTK" format as you can get I suppose. Same decklist that I've been running for a while for the Fusion/Pure version, nothing to say there. Pretty much same applies for the other 3 decks showcased in the video. The duel vs Snake-Eyes is full of misplays that I thought was still worth showing so you can learn from my own errors. With one misplay, I lost 3 interruptions in one battle phase and he could pick apart my board afterwards. Thankfully still won the game but yeah, a game can always turn on its head when your opponents make crucial errors. Also the little note at the end of the Tenpai duel is a screenshot of a comment from Bedo, the Lunalight/Tearlaments helper who has been featured on the channel before, just thought it would be funny to share with you all. "very little duels worth showcasing" for real. It's scoop if you go first, and scoop if you managed to handtrap them in the right place going second. Furthermore, any duels where you lose going second is most likely going to be some kind of degenerate strat like Rainbow Bridge searching Secret Village of Spellcaster or Set 5, flip up Summon Limit. I hope Konami makes some sweeping bans for next year.

@@Kanimize I think they'll have to ban some of these degen cards and hit the consistency of decks like Tenpai and GP which basically have just warped the ladder on their own. Anti Spell, Secret Village, Skill Drain, Summon Limit, the whole kitchen sink being thrown at you.

lmao I do admit, I do sometimes participate in a bit of BM especially when playing decks that annoy me/are meta. Lunas are fun but I'm obviously biased.

Congrats for amother DLV max. I totaly agree with you. Most of the dc cup is not very exciting. It's cracy how often I ran in to gimmick puppets or stun. However I had some fun with White forest Centurion. LUNALIGHTS BEST DECK!

Duelist Cup and exciting don’t go together. I ran into Stun a lot, not much Puppets though. Yuck though on WF Cent, not my favorite iteration of WF lol but good job

Great showing as always!! The farm for the final 100 gems this season was so annoying, just endless tenpai. Hope your climb was less frustrating than mine.

I'm still currently Diamond 1 on ladder (dropped it for a few days to do DC) but in terms of Duelist Cup, my only struggle was at DLV 17 where I was drawing unplayable for a stretch of games. I ended up finishing it easier after I started adding in some games of White Forest to the rotation, was feeling really good on it.

@@royalvandyke Same here, getting to 18 was the hardest thing, kept getting the most unplayable hands in existence. I was playing Live Twin Spright and for like 10 games in a row I opened triple Ash, Carrot and Frost or some similar combination. Once I hit 18 getting to 19 was a lot more manageable, and the gems were all I really care about.

@@itslamb2440 Tbh, the deck is really not in a good place for TCG but if someone wanted to make it for fun, it wouldn't be too different than my build in MD, just more copies of FBG, adjustments to Tear ratios and different non engine. ED would be adjusted as well.

Lunalight is the most fun ever! Uhhh I have an oldish one from June on my MDM profile and a few videos that feature it on the channel with various decklists. The deck is okay going second, not really amazing since you run a lot of bricks that hurt going second. I usually recommend LunaTear or Luna RR over it for that dual purpose threat. It's fun when you can pop off though.
