Lunalight Fusion Season 30 | Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel

Hello! We're back and re-uploaded (had to re-render due to an editing error on my part). Not the best tbh but it's passable, will just need to be better for next video since I wanted to make sure this was ready for today before the new pack drops. Anyways, comments on the run: it was pretty simple and sweet. I was hardstuck for a day in Diamond 3 because MD just wanted me to draw unplayable hands the entire time but never demoted and ended Diamond with an 8 game win streak. Somehow I did not face a lot of Snake-Eyes or Rescue-ACE or these copium Horus piles running around. There was actually a decent amount of variety honestly which reflects in the duels showcased in the video. The decklist is the same as last season, Triple Tactics Thrust 100% carried again, the amount of hands fixed by it resolving or duels just won off the back of Thrust was numerous. It would be nice to run Imperm but I hate straying very far from 40 so 42 is where I'll be for now. Otherwise, hope you enjoy the video and I'll see you soon for the WCQ video! This is what they mean by "it takes a good pilot". Good job on the duels. You definitely have a good understanding about what you're playing against and have ways to play around them. This definitely shows the skill it takes to not run the same combo line Everytime and make the game boring.

Yeah comboing off going first doesn’t advance your skill or scratch the fun itch that going second and breaking boards does. Granted I can do both but it’s less fun.

Nice work Royal! 👍 Great duels once again! That last duel was cool although you could tell it was a D-Link deck just using Dragunity to fill the gaps after the banlist hits. I have a Dragunity deck myself & the end board is quite different New pack coming in just a few hours from now! I checked the decklist, he definitely has other alternatives to his endboard (Dragunity Lv 10, Seals, Crystal Wing Clear Wing) it was very much a Dragunity deck and Crafty Mind, a prominent Dragunity player has an endboard that isn't THAT different than the one I faced. And Dragunity was recently featured on Dkayed's Meta Weekly with a similar deck build. Anyways, nothing in the new pack I want, just getting the GE structure and calling it a day. Realy nice rounds of duels like always. The duel against the dragon/link/synchro was by far the best one. The good part about ladder in the moment is, that people dont play much snake eyes anymore. With the new pack I'm hyped to see what Entertainer is cooking with the new pendel support. LUNALIGHT STRONEST!

Dragunity duel was fun, was basically just prime Arc Rebellion OTK duel but I’m not too familiar with the deck so played it safe. Fun games! Will have to see what ladder is like now with Fire King.

While playing this deck inoticed that there are 2 monsters unexpectedly verry good in this deck, gardian chimera and kaleido chick , the banishment effect of kaleido chick is very good , as it prevents the effects of the likes of link kuriboh and raging phoenix to activate in the battle phase

The struggles of playing a going second deck with the boards and handtraps you'll likely face but as long as you're confident in your understanding of how to play around things, it's fun and allows you to better improve as a player because you think more about your plays and how to maneuver through interruption.

I absolutely love going second decks since with going first deck you have a 50% chance of having a turn you want, but with going second it's about 95%. Also screw meta sheep

Very nice video per usual. I do have a very important question. Is there any UR cards in this deck i could potentially skip out on or opt for another lesser rarity card but not hinder the power of the deck? I say this because I wonder how much mileage I would get out of Tornado dragon. If not then it's alright because I do have enough material to complete the deck entirely now.

You can edit the extra deck as you please, deck is very flexible in all respects. You should definitely opt for backrow removal wherever possible though. Daruma Doll is an SR that kinda does the same thing and has good uses as well.

@@zoarzoar4483 yes, pure Lunalights are a blind second deck since it was originally made to be an OTK deck. It historically though has been used in many many other decks which I sometimes play and showcase on the channel.

quick question how will you deal with maxx c then nibiru

This deck can play through Nib if you hold your extension and set up the OTK without committing everything. Sometimes you have to and then Nib will win them the game but it is what it is. Maxx C is just something you'll always have to play through, again it is what it is.

In theory yes it works but going -2 on Imsety is very unappealing. Horus also doesn’t provide anything the deck doesn’t already have access to through other more viable engines.
