LUNAR BEAM IS OP NOW?? | Elune's Chosen Guardian and Balance Druid Hero Talent Tree First Look

More hero talent trees have been released, and in this video I go over the Elune's Chose tree for Guardian and balance druids, reinforcing the "lazer bear" playstyle by significantly buffing moonfire and lunar beam. I am a mega fan of Lazer Bear coming back. I loved it when it first was around and was sad when it went away. I'm hoping they give us access to Fury of Elune (I'd also take Full/New Moon - I mean it is an Elune tree - but I know Blizz will never give that to us) and move up Lunar Beam. Because I honestly feel we need -more- castery/lazer stuff and we'd have a niche back in a small way at least. Hey we're now the caster tanks, hell ya. Other than whatever limbo they have us in now. And on a wish list -- I'd love if LB followed us instead of being in one spot. I'll hold out picking until we see the Druid of the Claw or whatever come out -- but so far, this one is my favorite. I've always been a fan of LB - its just been to weak to take, this makes it worth it but I feel the other one for bleeds will prolly end up being the better one :(

Yeah Lunar Beam has been in a sad state until now so it's nice to see it get some love in this tree. Hoping we get access to Fury of Elune in our tree somewhere for sure as that would make this tree a lot nicer!

@@Tactyks Hope they give us a toy or enchant to make it rainbow colored and/or add glitter to it just for "some people" to blow a gasket or two ;)

Maybe they will make Fury of Elune a choice node with Lunar Beam? It's currently that way with New Moon for balance. Will be interesting to see! :)

Love holding my little raves as a disco bear, haven't had much opportunity recently. But it's a playstyle I loved, excited to give it a try. Wonder if Druid of the Claw will be more Berserk/Incarn focused. I'd love Saberon incarn for feral and Grizzlemaw incarn for guardian, as much as I know that aesthetic isn't for everyone. I've never given Guardian true focus like I have a couple of my favored tanks, this tree may inspire me to give it a go for at least a season. Hopefully not to the detriment of my raid group.

I think it was very smart to play into both the physical and arcane playstyles of bear given how so much of the Guardian community identifies with one of them. Super excited to see if there's some catweaving or bleed focused elements in the Druid of the Claw tree, but also the synergies in Elune's Chosen seem pretty cool, gonna be a hard choice!

@@Tactyks Honestly hadn't considered a bleed focus in Druid of the Claw, embrace the savagery of Bear and Cat, Catweaving too could be interesting.

I feel like they may end up making lunar beam and fury of elune as a choice node for guardian like full moon and fury of elune is for balance

I could definitely see that happening, seems weird to have so many Fury of Elune related nodes when currently the only source for Guardians is a choice node in the tree.

@@Tactyks yeah considering it literally says full moon is balance, lunar beam is guardian and fury is both. And it wouldn't make sense if guardian can use both fury of elune and lunar beam, double dipping into each talent while balance gets one or the other

Honestly all 3 of the druid tree capstones are super underwhelming, especially when looking at what some other classes get, the whole thing needs a rework for sure.

Yeah, especially in a single target focused raid build it can feel bad to have to path through something like Twin Moons to get to it. Definitely wonder if there's a bit of a talent shuffle coming for Guardian which also might include getting access to Fury of Elune.

I hope they give us a shuffle -- I dont know why they told Warriors for the Colossus build : Hey Shockwave is being moved up to be more accessible in War Within. Bruh, what about us? :(
