She's an utter beauty. Great job! I must ask for more of these long building videos, they're my absolute fauvorite SE content. Maybe like a black stealth vessel running on hydrogen, as the storage tanks would (in lore) keep the hull temp low to blend in with background radiation? Honestly anything goes, keep it up!

Love these kinds of videos, it's nice to be able to see what goes through other peoples minds when creating ships. It helps me in creating my own ships using your techniques.

I like to look at escort carriers like the WW2 convoy escort carriers. Provide some scouting around the convoy, scare off submarines and maritime patrol aircraft etc and not to mount massed aircraft attacks on enemy ships. I suppose the SE variant would be scouting, surveying suspicious ships and general anti-piracy operations.

Half the video, whenever Lunar went to the back and we could see nothing coming from one engine, I screamed at my screen, "ONE ENGINE ISN'T POWERED! FIX IT!"

I like the design, but I think the bridge should have been put on top of the antena, and have the fighters come out of the front and return in the rear.

How would a double sided carrier work with matching front and back end as weapon platforms that cover the ship and a hanger bay in the middle section with small arms for point defence to cover the fighters/drones. That way it reduces the need for combat manoeuvres as you can provide covering fire and can also evade as it can be piloted in either direction? So if you loose the front end the back end can be the new front and you can retreat without losing any basic systems? It was a thought as I’ve never really built carriers before?

I always build my carries on a simple principal - # of pilots x the @ of sorties = fighter complement

I'm a little sad I couldn't get through the video. I was 5 minutes in and getting a headache from the amount of clacks from the mouse and keyboard. I will admit I'm more sensitive to intermittent sound, and I hope you all keep making content ^_^

sorry to hear :( my scripted videos like ship analysis have no keyboard as it's all post recording, as well as the cinematics obviously. I will be getting a new keyboard soon too!

Yes, we can get mods but not really good ones, like we cant even get the paint gun mod or good shield mods and weaponcore and we cant do scripts so the programmable block is useless.

Oh, and yes, you did use DLC. Like the Bridge Windows. We can't use those. Those aren't free.

I just randomly started thinking about something, don't you think that if a hydrogen Tank gets damaged below a certain point of functional it should 1: flicker your hydrogen engines output (no valve regulation, it isnt functional) 2:spew out fire from the bullet holes or impact area, burning engineers and pushing your vehicle in the opposite direction of the hole? With little force though as it would loose pressure quickly. And if there is a oxygen tank connected to a hydrogen tank directly(through their independent ports) it should explode with the force of like two warheads? O2 helps h2 detonate stronger

I want to build custom turrets but I don't know what I'm doing wrong! I want to build a custom turret for large grid ships but two things are going wrong. 1 the turret turns the whole ship. 2 the turret has so much wobble that it shoots everywhere like it's klanging out. What do I need to do? If anyone posts links to videos please note I've been through a lot of them. I need information

@@noneyaonenoneyatwo2879 to try to explain it simply: place a large grid rotor, then delete just the head of the rotor, go to control panel and select 'add small head', from there build your turret on the small head that spawns, making sure to add an elevation hinge and a camera (guns obvs), then place a turret controller on the grid and set the base rotor as azimuth and the added hinge as elevation, select the weaponry in the controller and the camera. Hard to explain over text but hope it helps

I play on Xbox and I recently learned U can connect keyboard and mouse so It's actually pretty similar performance and keybinnd wise Only thing that there isn't is mods and scripts but hopefully that Will change with automatons Because the workshop is significantly smaller I recently adopted the behaviour of rebuilding ships from memory that I've seen

I'm on xbox for this game and it's made me want to get a computer for gaming now. As on xbox you only have 10000 PCU limit and 20000 on experimental mode so you need to build everything small and really worry about if the block is needed or not so less greable. their is no use of any scripts so you can't do any auto mining drones worth doing. not sure if it happens on comp but if you go over a certain km away from one of your mining holes it all reloads so you need to dig it again but it keeps the data that the old hole is still their so you save file fills up really quickly. this ship would have to be the base and probly only hold one drone befor you at pcu limit and can't build anymore. so in conclusion console version is really like a beta version and make you wish you had a computer.
