Thank you for your words Luna ☺. You've certainly reached out to this woman, and I'm 71 years old. It's exactly what I needed right now, having lost my beloved husband Terry back in December 23. We would have been married 54 years this year (we were babies when we wed). These are the things he said to me, be strong, keep up your beliefs, finish your poetry/short stories, and most of all great, for if you don't create your soul will die. It's hard and I miss him so much. I have my two fur babies, my kits Tally (Talliesin) and Luna 🐺🐱🐾 and they are giving me a reason to get up in the mornings. Be confident and be happy Luna and put yourself out there. Sending love, light and Summer blessings ☀️🐞🌾🐝🌹 xx

This is so lovely! I was surprised too when I saw the Aurora Borealis in northeast US. 💚 I was in poet groups on FB and IG a few years ago, and it didn't feel right. Now that you've mentioned it, I think it didn't feel right for me because poetry is spoken word, spoken art, magic - but the online groups didn't have much like that from what I saw, many were about SEO and likes/shares and analytics etc. It was not for me. Glad to hear there are others in this world like me.

What's a festive feast for Beltane! And it sounds like your adventures in London were both inspiring and educational. I'm headed to the UK myself in a couple of weeks with a colleague and a group of students for a study abroad trip, and I am so looking forward to it. Thank you for another lovely video- your food looks absolutely delicious! 😋

The food looked absolutely delicious. Nothing like time spent by the fire with friends. Beautiful shots of the nothern lights too. You are not JUST a writer you have so much more to offer than that, you detailed some of it at the end of the video.

Hey I loved the video. But EVERYONE - do know what you should pick up? "Oaken Tongue" by this very same lady doing the video. I didn't know what to expect and it's a book of short stories - the first tale - "Fang and Fur" is amazing and is so perfect. Please keep creating!

Wonderful video! I love to see your adventures. Agreeing with the other commenter about not selling yourself short. I guarantee every other participant at that event had the imposter syndrome at some point. Agreeing re. Viktor Wynd - it’s difficult to reflect properly on the items displayed and it has an odd vibe to it. We went a few years before covid at the behest of a friend visiting from abroad and it just felt a bit odd. Amazing Beltane feast - looks like so much fun. I also have a book recommendation for you - something a little different to your usual choices but with an undertone you might like: the Six Stories series by Matt Wesolowski. They’re written as podcast episodes and have folkloric undertones (I’m not explaining this very well, but they’re also quite short so if you didn’t like one, you won’t have wasted a lot of time on it!) Best wishes from Essex. 💚

Don't sell yourself short. The profs and the -ologists have studied and worked hard, yes, but not everyone has had their opportunities. The true experts are the practitioners, especially the granny-women and elders. You know a lot! BTW, you're gorgeous, and it's surprising how many of us goddesses don't realize that we, too, are gorgeous!

What a beautiful vlog! 🌿🌷 p.s. As someone with a degree specializing in fiber arts, just wanted to give some cyanotype info (in what I hope is a fun way, and doesn't sound know-it-all-y through the voiceless-ness of the internet): It's a photosensitive liquid that you can brush onto fabric (or paper), that is exposed/developed in sunlight. If you place an object (or a film negative, or transparent plastic sheet with some things printed on it) on the fabric before and while exposing it to the sunlight, that object or image will keep the cyanotype from developing under it, therefore leaving its image (or shadow, I suppose) on the surface. Pretty darn cool~ And doesn't require too much to get started!

About you as "writer", a thought: You seem a pleasant person and your vids are pleasant enough to watch. My interests, though, in the "pagan", the "magical", the "witchy things"… such seem to not much accompany me these days. However, i've recently acquired an interest in *Oaken Tongue*. Therein, to my mind, lies the truly magical. Imo, there's a rapidly increasing number of bad books spawned by the digital age. Everyone thinks they can write a book, that they can tell meaningful stories. But you really can. (With, for what i'm guessing is a self-edited book, relatively few typos, even.) *Oaken Tongue* is a delightful book full of gorgeous little gems, built with a strong poetic sensibility. Without bothering you with any detailed analysis of your style, i'll just, finally, get to my point. Which is, you write beautifully. Beautifully. There are so many subtle ways you handle your material so well. Very much looking forward to your novel. If i had any advice to offer you, it would be something like this: first, ignore most advice offered to you. And just let "it" flow out of you like it seems you have been doing, let it find its own shape, let it show you what its shape is, even if that shape might seem to reflect some deeper intention than what you thought you had… intended. Don't pay much attention to anyone telling you what a novel (or any form) should be, what the rules are of novel writing. Sure, it's possible to learn from pretty much anyone, but that won't be something that will contradict what you're being told by that muse-excited entity trying to get out of you. Because ultimately, it's writers with skillsets like yours that make the books that make the rules. Best to you.

Thank you so much for this comment, it means more than you can know to hear this about my writing. It was quite daunting as my book is unusual, I just hoped it would find its way into the right hands of people it resonates with. It seems like it is doing so, and I’m really pleased about that. Thank you again, I shall keep writing in my own way 🙏🏻
