I always tend to stare at people who are in my vision through my peripheral vision. I get uncomfortable when I realize I am looking at them and then i try to turn away or hide them from my vision by looking down or turning my chair so i cant see them. If i just ignore this and keep on looking anyways, they get uncomfortable and scared and I start looking at them even more. And then they start whispering and saying i am looking at them and they find me creepy. My social anxiety also makes this condition much worse and i don't really have friends anymore and the ones I consider as my friends are talking behind my back and think that I am gay and i am creepy.

Ive had it for about 15 years now. Just became a loner, and always gamed online so I could still keep friendships. But now I am 35 and can not get aways with bumming around and gaming so much, I need a job that I can support myself on. Women have always found me attractive so I was still alteast able to get laid(almost always one night stands), but relationships were off the table since being around me for more then a few times and youll see I am a freak. This last year it has gotten so bad I can't even be around people. Its gotten so bad I am legit having panic attacks just thinking about going to families house for the holidays. I dont want them to hate me. If anyone ever needs a friend please write me, I know what it is like to be completely alone for years. It is a nightmare.

I know this very well since I have been living with this for past 6 years. How it feels, an allegory would be, you know you are heavily drained and wanna sleep good, but every time you close your eyes, nightmare begins and wake up again and fight not to fall asleep. I too have suffered with this, for 20 + years. Take SSRI medication which helps (given by a pyshicatrist who diagnosed it as fear psychosis). I continue to take that. But of late something has really changed. I read a book ‘Mindworks’ by Gary Van Warmerdam. It is really helping. He writes - not for this , but generally for beliefs - to question our belief. I guess with this OCD, we need to question our ingrained belief - “I look at private parts > I do not have control over where I look > than cascading into ….. People can make out where I am looking” “I do not have control over where I look” - Is that right? Is that a fact ? Or is it a very heavy ingrained belief, and hammered down in us by people reaction to our staring ocd, which is right on people’s part. Just be skeptical of your belief - I do not have control over where I look - and work from there. In the book he gives lot of exercises and explanation etc. to overcome a (any) false belief. Helping me immensely

Our brain works quite funny and opposite, if I gave you a task not to think of pink elephant.Try your best not to think... guess what happens? And if I gave you a task not to notice red cars while driving ofcours you would be noticing that red car in your view. Try not to stop it and let go, let the staring happens. If will works because you are teaching your brain that there is no danger, the time goes on the fear would subside

@@adityakhandare7952 hello sir. And well wishes. I am now about to be 28. I have work tomorrow a new job actually. Andive already had of some OCD occurred already to my new boss and co workers (I THINK). It's ok. I am 67 days sober. I have been using drugs for most of my life since I was 17, and it's started around...20 years of age. I have not tackled it as I should have in my earlier years due to resentment towards my own life and depression and being broke. I used and just kept leaving out intothe days and it would happen all the time. Just now recently I have had enough so I stop smoking weed, drinking. And well, after only 55days worth of sobriety, it did go down tremendously. But I was just here now and I was thinking about my life and I have no friends and when I go out into public I am already kind of scared from the years so I have natural paranoia about the next day. So I told my self that (wow, I have some real issues). Now to be honest dude, people love me. I have had girlfriend offers and friend offers for real. But I was so numb I just shut everything out. I just recently honestly told a a person who I know: & who I thought I did OCD too at a recent gathering. I was 100% convinced that I did OCD too this person. So I called him and brought it up and said I'm sorry... Itold him I thought I did this too him and HE told me ("I never even notice") he said it's (undetectable)... I don't have much information on really how to tackle it except love life again, laugh and be sober and keep going to a local therapy building and have help on stand by and GO TOO THERAPY. Do not stay by your self and hide away from the world.... Or in my case I just didn't like my persona life so I didn't like life . Making this OCD way worse. Try ERP, and exposure to the public man its gonna hurt.... It's going to hurt. I've been there, it's pain ful. But one thing that really helps is, (If u think u did it too someone you know & can trust) Callthem and ask them if they noticed me doing it too them. They will probably say no. I hope. And it makes me feel better. It doesn't happen to girls just men, and it strange dude. Get out there,be sober and keep working and making money and life goal plans, stay in touch with a therapy center and work out. These things will help sir. Amd dont do drugs, stay away from all drugs. That's about all I have. Me at 27 ifeel better, when you are a grown up it's a bit better. Do not fear don't have fear, conquer fear because that's what this OCD brings out and that's it's main crippling weapon. Have friends and help out. Ok. Bye. Good luck. Sir.

Had it for years too now I'm like, fine! Ima tell the world and get help because this is nonsense! So little data. I made a friend online. Best who has this he actually said he talked to this amazing person Dr Grayson. But for yrs unlike today, just watch normal tv..... KZbin...the when the days starts I just get thrown into too, knowing but not combating the day, just like ... Ok another day here we go... Gonna suffer, after work walk home... Dude it's so awful but I'm different, I former drug addict and hard drugs, smoked weed every night and drinked beer alot... That wasmy normal life before this BS horrible ocdcame on me.... Man ... I'm not chred I'm just leaving a comment since I'm always on KZbin, but sadly.... Very sadly not watching vids that willhelp me.... So this comment is after...my gosh... 7 years of OCD dude. Since my first job too now. .... I don't get in fights but on this year... The 7th year I'm 27... Ppl of course look at me as an adult .... Not a teen with issues. They see a grown man and it's ....I agree.... Not cool... I hate saying that like it's a terrible thing tohave.... But at my age ppl r like , ? Well dude get ur eyes togethers... Lol. Damn dude. I'm amazing at how much id have suffered. I've never had a gf before ... No friends.... Just work and pain... But I was angry at home years when I was young when it first started and as I got older more problems came andmever had a break fromm. Tragic family stories.... I had a bad start in lifeand perhaps that added too this coming about. But I willbeatthis.ppl don't hate me,they never will. I always get compliments outside. I'll get it together and I will soon!
