I was there to see this live. It is just as poignant today as it was then. But the announcement that they made the 10 (and their finals intro) was one for the record books. I miss these guys. The conventions just haven't been the same without them.

@@lifeontheledgerlines8394 in two decades in this "racket", one thing I have learned that is incontrovertible: Quartets come, quartets go. Some continue for years after their medals, often getting better. (Vocal Spectrum, ACOUSTIX for example) Others break up and one or more members get into the Quartet Shuffle (Crossroads, MaxQ, etc.) The legacy Lunch Break leaves is indelible and beloved.

I did purchase one of these "surplus" bronze medals (old logo) and it served as my key chain for a while. Then I realized the risk of losing it might be too great. So it is pinned to my cork board right in front of my desk and I can see it daily!

The lead needs more volume and the bass needs more flare to his parts. They would win hands down. Comedy is great, but you have to stun with your sound somewhat.
