Great tutorial!!!! Erick, You would probably need to create a whole bunch of planes that are flexible and then constrain the end two. Check out how it's done with springs.

This is exactly what I needed. The spline thing. One question though. Why would you choose spline over arcs or arcs over splines?

Is there anyway to dynamically animate these tubes? I have a project that the main focus is the handling, bending, and twisting of the tubes. I'd prefer to do this in Solidworks.
