I echo what Brad says.. It's not necessarily sad, there are just soooooo many great bands, and so little time... This is my first time watching this band, but I feel like a lot of the bands I love are "underrated" as well. Just the way things are nowadays, I don't think it's all a bad thing, you just have to find what you like and not care how many people listen to it.

Front man singer/songwriter Andy Hull is, in my 63 yr old humble opinion, the best recording artist of his generation. I’ve been turning on to Manchester O for over 10 years. The 2006 release of Im Like a Virgin Losing a Child caught my attention for life when i heard the recording of Where Have You Been? Lead Guitarist Robert McDowell has been right there with Andy for the long haul as they have grown and continued to kill it with each new release. Powerful performances and a lyric and message that can’t be forgotten have placed this band front and center for me and many fans like me. Rock it men. Right Away.

"We're called Fitz and the Tantrums." Fitz and the Tantrums played on the big stage across the field before MO right up until their set time. Foster the People immediately followed MO on the big stage across the field. The Head and the Heart was the next act on this stage. Extremely hot that day. The sound/lighting tents had their back flaps open for circulation. I was able to watch both Manchester Orchestra's and The Head and the Heart's lighting people do their thing from right behind. and the latter lighting guy was nice enough to answer some questions for me and explain how it all worked.

I think a lot of people get confused by the band's name, hence their popularity is a lot lower than it should be. I was originally caught off guard by the band name, as I am not interested in some Orchestra from the UK. When they came to NZ they performed in one of the smallest venues with little advertisements, which shouldn't be the case. If they were named "Andy's Band of Boheminas" I think this would have it's million views it deserves.

Amazing performance, but that last song remains the best performance I've ever seen by them. So much emotion and hope stuffed into four simple chords. Only a band like Manchester can do that. I just saw Manchester Orchestra in Milwaukee, WI a few hours ago. They were amazing! They opened for Arcade Fire and the crowd sucked! I was losing my mind singing, screaming, and hopping around; while most of the crowd just sat there talking to one another! I couldn't believe my eyes, I mean was the crowd deaf? They are hearing one of the best bands, and showed no emotion. I believe most people were there for Arcade Fire, and their fans are lame! Manchester Orchestra only played for 45 minutes and then placed their guitars on the floor and walked off stage. I think they got tired of the lame crowd. I was pissed! I love Manchester Orchestra!

The old days, damn boys, you keep taking me back every single time I see this! Love from KY👏 Edit: nevermind. They mostly have their phones. Ugh how shit a band must feel when they are playing music that moves- MOVES THE WORLD- and the majority of the people getting turnt up are all onstage.
