As a Lunenburg resident, thank you for visiting and sharing our town’s beautiful sights, locations and activities. One recommendation for anyone who wishes to learn more about Lunenburg’s history is to visit the Knaut-Rhuland House Museum on Pelham Street. A museum interpreter can give you a personalized guided tour while walking through one of Lunenburg’s oldest houses (the museum).

You guys are doing a really excellent job Vlogging your Nova Scotia tour. I'll definitely check out some of your other places when I get the time. One thing you didn't mention is that the entire town of Lunenburg is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. My last last meal in Lunenburg was a pizza at the Salt Shaker Deli as well--so yummy. Sometimes the boat tours offer a puffin tour to Pearl Island. It's about an hour out, half hour or so there and hour back but it is worth it for the birds. Lots Atlantic Puffins, Razorbills, Kittiwakes etc. The puffins are so colorful, like Lunenburg. Looking forward to more of your Vlogs.

Oh thanks again for another beautiful and inspiring video. Nova Scotia now is really on my top list of travel destinations. Funny thing: One of my grand-uncles (is this the correct term? brother of my grandfather) was Professor of Metallurgical Engineering at the Nova Scotia Technical College of Halifax after he and his wife emigrated from Latvia to Germany at the start of WW2 and then from Germany to Canada in the 50s. Later in the 70s they came back to Germany. As a child, Halifax (or Canada in general) to me was always "somewhere over the rainbow" 😀

There is another Memorial on the other side of the Bay close to Bayswater Beach. That is where you will find the Passenger list and where all the Remains are buried. Peggy’s Cove was just a Media Center. The actual work was being done on the other side . I was out on the water that night in a Fishing boat with Search and Rescue personal on board. It was a traumatic night for everybody involved.
