I have an outback and preferred the Exped Megat 10. returned my Luno. But due to shape of the crosstrek I’m not sure that would would work. Both are great but I like the flexibility of having something multiple purpose (can be used in tent, car and home) vs an oddly shaped thing for a single use case

Really great video. I just got one for my Escape and didn’t realize how long it would be and that I’d need to move the front seats forward. This video was exactly what I needed to show that’s how it’s supposed to be. Which thankfully, is not an issue because it’s my intention to deflate it every day and put my back seats up.

What happens with the typical deflate overnight as the air cools? Is it similar to most other air mattresses or does it keep inflated?

It does pretty well actually with just a small amount over the night. The 2.0 does not seem to deflate as much as the original.

HI Rob, I think as long as you put a bag or decent blanket over it to keep the cold off a bit you will be fine. The top of the mattress isn't the typical plasticy material.

I do not honestly know for sure, but I am 5'9"s and I fit fine in the 18. My guess is they are pretty close if there is a difference. I do know the cargo room is a bit more in the 18+....51 to 55 cubic feet if I remember correctly. Might have to lay back there when you are checking them out.

Hi, no, you can not separate them, but each side has its own air chamber so you do not have to inflate both of them. You can just fold the non-inflated side underneath. Works great. They do not sell a single.

I’ve watched a few videos about installing the Luna in a Subaru. It looks nice but I don’t like wasting the space behind the front seats with the blow-up blocks. I would rather use that space for storage, perhaps with a soft mat on top of each.

Anyone over 6 foot will most likely have to lay slightly crossways to fit "comfortably". You can fit 2 people back there, but it isn't super roomy.

I have not measured the darn thing all of the times I have used it, but I can tell you that the Crosstrek is 43 inches wide between the wheel wells. So I would guess it is about 20 inches or so per side.

Use a carabiner and put it in the latch when the hatchback is open. It tricks the car into thinking the hatchback is closed. It's nice then you can hang a lantern or bug repellent etc. Also, I've heard if you have a key fob, that constantly communicates with the car and could run down your battery over a long period of time. I'm looking at getting a faraday bag for my key fob.

Hello, all of the times I have had the mattress out I have not actually measured it, but the say it will fit a person 74 inches or 188 cm. It fit in my 18 Crosstrek just about perfectly lengthwise with the driver and passenger seats moved forward. Plenty of room for it in the Crosstrek.

That is an excellent question!!! I never measured the width since it slipped into both my Crosstrek and Jeep just about perfectly. They do not mention a width on the website either.

@@AZdroptop they do not. I got mine in. It's comfortable and I enjoy it. But in the back of an old escalade there is about 5-6 inches of gap between the fender wells. And very narrow for 1 individual if using 1 side.

Luno air mattress is only worth it imo if your car seats fold fully flat. Otherwise it’s pretty useless and you have to makeshift a flat surface yourself. On top of which the cubes take up space and you have to inflate/deflate the mattress frequently to find the right fit. Also, it insulates horribly, none at all. So be prepared for that. This air mattress is justifiable if you are traveling 4-5 days and avoid hotel fees, it pays for itself otherwise know it’s very pricey and does not compensate for non flat folded seats. For that it’s overpriced imo. Just shipped mine back, super disappointed for my CX-5. None of these videos mention these things and you maybe left disappointed just as much as me. It’s not worth it for most vehicles. Also that 12v pump they ship is the most Chinese garbage plastic I’ve ever felt in my life. $330 for an overpriced mattress and crumby pump that they dish out and it doesn’t even hold in the socket. Probably a return or something

Sounds like you don' like it much. :). They are on the expensive side, but I think it is a quality piece that works well. I think not having a flat place the lay the mattress is an obviously thing and mentioned in my videos on the mattress. Hope you can find something that works for you!
