Luno Packable Pillow - The Perfect Portable Pillow For Camping and Overlanding?

In this video, I'm going to show you my new favorite pillow for camping/Overlanding. I've tried a number of pillows from the cheap inflatable ones to several of the flannel wrapped small camping pillows and all of them had issues.
Most recently, I've been bringing a full size pillow from home, but there are obvious downsides to that as well. It's too big to pack down, it takes up too much room, and I have to remember to bring it (which can be a challenge if you leave in a hurry). And if you forget a pillow, you're gonna have a bad time.
Enter, the Luno Packable Pillow. This is a great combo of small enough to be packable and big enough to be comfy. With a removable cover, a water resistant bag, and a perfect size, it's a great option for camping, Overlanding, and many other outdoor activities.

Nice find. A little on the expensive side, but worth it maybe for the convenience if it’s really comfortable. Nothing worse than a crappy night’s sleep with a bad pillow. It took me years to get out of the mindset of sleeping on an insulated pad with a sleeping bag and whatever I had to shove in the stuff sack for a pillow. Now that I’m in my curmudgeonhood I’m all about the comfort. Switched to a cowboy style bedroll with an air mattress, fitted sheet and blankets a couple years ago. The comfort is worth the extra few pounds in the rig. I’ve got smaller packable pillows in my roll, but the size of that one has me thinking. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! And totally agree. It's right on that border cost wise, BUT, with all the money I've spent on the multiple pillows I've had, this one splits the difference between tiny fold down size and comfort really nicely and has helped me finally get a good night's sleep in my roof top tent without bringing the full size pillow from home, :D. Glad it was helpful!

@@AllThingsOverlanding we always bring our house pillows just because all the camping ones we have suck. But they are just so big and massive. Well definitely have to check this out.

Do you see any problems with winter temperatures? Recently I camped in -1 temps. My mattress is an air and foam combo and it would deflate fully.

Nope! This pillow is all memory foam so no inflation at all which means it doesn’t change shape or thickness in cold temps.

Do you have room in your tent (when closed) to leave it in there?

Maybe if you put it in the middle of the tent but it would be a squeeze. I keep it in my drawers.
