Don't know if you caught this but when he said "my Lord is my Chemist. my sword is from Khemet Egyptian fonts and ankhs" it hold another meaning. In the book of John it says "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. 3Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made." He pulls on this imagery when he says the lord is my chemist. But it goes even deeper. In the same Gospel Jesus' name is synonymous with the Word (The Angel Of The Lord, also know as the presence of the Lord that led the Hebrews out of Egypt). Also in the book of ephesians we are told to put on the full armor of God and use the "sword of the word" - which can mean battling evil and sin with scripture but also by using the power authority granted by the Word aka Jesus. Lupe ties this all in by saying my sword is from Khemet. Jesus aka the Word aka the sword raised in Egypt.

The chorus alone is deep. Go straight, dont sin (veer off path. Sin is an angle of and 30 degrees if i remember correctly), and it can also mean don't sign as you said. Don't sign could also be playing off of sin to mean sinning (stay true to your mission and be honest and not so eager to sign your soul away for quick riches). I love his work. All his lyrics have double and triple meanings.

But how he incorporated ancient scribing, his situation with Atlantic, the current music industry and more into this has always been a marvel. If you listen to the tracks on Tetsuo & Youth in reverse, it mirrors the death and rebirth of Jesus (being represented by a vague "lyrical I" on the album). The chorus on this song saying: "3 angles in kind . . . go straight . . . don't sign" could therefore be interpreted as the typical 3 monitors used in medical dramas to indicate if person is dying/dead, the 3 lines - or angles - flatlining and the chorus is telling them to not go back into a sine wave. The mathematical sign used for the sinus is "sin", so it could also be interpreted as "go straight, don't sin". Mathematics, Christianity and sin are all directly mentioned or strongly hinted at in this track.

Also, if you connect this to Adoration of the Magi, the “3 angles” are “3 angels” in kind- the biblical representation of stars. Stars are the Magi that adore new stars. Angels in kind.
