Unlike soy though, it needs to be kept GMO free. Those of us with an interest in actually eating Lupin don't want the same messing around with it that Soya, and other crops are having done, just so that huge companies can make more money at the expense of our ecosystem.

In the EU, soy cannot be GMO, unless if it is to feed animals

All parts of the Lupin plant are toxic. It’s only mild so humans need to ingest a fairly substantial amount to be risky but they are still toxic. This is an odd video. I have never heard of anyone proposing we eat poisonous plants before!?
