So sick of this Jennifer Lawrence hype. The fact that people are saying she deserved the oscar for playing a housewife when Lupita's performance was of a real slave and with so much emotion, just baffles me. Her performance was on a completely different level. It doesn't matter how much screen time you have, as long as you're convincing (Anne Hathaway won the oscar the year before for a brilliant performance, but wasn't in the film for long). Lupita truly deserved it and I look forward to seeing her win more Oscars.
