Lure competition on the kayak - coverage and vlogging at the '2023 Kayak Anglers European Championship' event, ran by South West Kayak Anglers (thumbnail photo taken by SWKA) at Llangorse Lake in Wales. The final kayak fishing competition to decide the finalists for the forthcoming Swiss Valley final in November.
Having entered the competition for five or six consecutive years, I thought I'd know what to expect, but I was wrong - the place was thick with weed. My decision to select a limited number of lures and flies before heading off was a poor one, but I'm already looking forward to going back.
