Thanks Cal, great video as always. It’s getting tricky catching bass here on the South Coast of the UK - my last bite was 3 weeks ago - but I’m going to keep going through the winter. I get my inspiration from watching your videos - they give me hope at times when it’s likely to be futile to even go fishing! I’m presenting at a conference on Jersey in March ‘25, so I’m going to ‘accidentally’ sneak a travel rod and some lures on the flight! MaS

@@999markas I’d certainly say it’s still worth a go on the south coast when you get the right weather windows mate. You never know until you try. Yeah I’d recommend sneaking a travel rod over with you to jersey. March time might be hard, but you’ll be in with a chance for sure.

Nice video Cal, what jacket, trousers and boots are you using? They look great for winter on rocks.

@@martinpearce4604 Thanks mate. I use the Guy Cotton boots. Had them for years now and can’t fault them. The jacket is the light version of one of the Vass jackets. It’s very worn now. The trousers are just cheapish ones from a local shop. I go through 5 or 6 pairs of them a year. I’m actually going to invest in some decent waterproof gear in the new year.

Savage gear gravity shallow rod tip down wobble action lift the rod tip up on the retrieve cal will do the opposite and have a tight wiggle action such a versatile lure for the money the 14g is a beaut aswell 🎣

@@Kernow84 Thanks mate. I only bought that a couple of weeks ago so it was the first time using that specific lure. I love all white lures so thought that would serve a purpose over winter. I’ll have to give it some more water time over the next few weeks.
