Lure Fishing Swartkops. Bagging the Grand Slam: Ladyfish, Spotted Grunter, Leervis, Kob and Bartails

We've always been in search of getting all the popular estuary fish in South Africa in a single mission. Swartkops is definitely an estuary where that is possible. A heavily polluted and overfished river but an incredibly productive system that keeps blowing my mind. Well here it is, the pursuit of Ladyfish, Spotted Grunter, Leervis, Kob and Bartail Flatheads on lure. This episode also covers how I work my Shiversticks for rolling Ladyfish and the basics of fishing with a bucktail.

The first time i went fishing in a estuary in the Eastern Cape was at Sondags river and i caught an electric ray, I was super confused because i didn't see a barb on it and down in the Western Cape we dont have electric rays, so i learned the hard way😂
