Nice vid mate. That was me and a mate out there on the kayaks. I remember that boat coming in around us. He was buzzing about for a while. Searching for mackerel shoals.

Thanks for the video. I caught my first ever bass on a surface lure on Tuesday at low tide in East Worthing. I tried it after watching the video of you doing the same at Goring beach. Never knew you could catch them in such shallow water, so I owe you a big thanks for sharing your video!

I was along that same stretch of beach this morning with the lure rod and had the same result. Saw some garfish scatter a few times when I cast and that was it, still a pleasant couple of hours though.

Never caught a cuttle fish but know people who catch them a lot with lures as by catch. But normally it's October sort of time or early spring.

Nice try thanks for sharing , I always think the lure thing in the early part of summer is very hit and miss some days good but mostly a struggle... seems you just have to turn up at the right moment then it’s gone for the day but in late summer there always seems to be more fish around Especially when the gars show again in numbers in September time and definitely more mackerel and bass as well .... having said that there is definitely more variety of bait fish around then as well ( guess that says it all) , them cuttlefish can shift can’t they

Late August / September is my favourite time to fish so many species to catch. Been a bit of a slow start this year compared to last year but then look at the summer we had. I like mixing my fishing up a bit and try and target what could be there. Thanks for watching 🙂
