LURE MAKING - Beautiful Balsa MINNOW LURE! Part 1

My name is Jake Schogler - I make lures!
In this video I will take you through all the steps I use to make a Balsa Minnow style crank bait.
Materials Used-
5mm Balsa sheet
0.8mm Stainles steel wire ( stiff )
2 x 1 Gram Split shot
Super glue (cyanoacrylate)

Amazing lures mate and I’ve used old plastic screw boxes for lips it would make your lures look next level if they had a clear lip 👍

I only make squid jig for my self and friends but not yet try to make some lure.. next time i try to make lure.. thanks for video.. 👍

Хорошая работа! Только я считаю,что необходимо ещё покрыть эпоксидной смолой. Нужна большая прочность при ловли судака. Он может раздавить воблер своим укусом. Для форели - нормально!👍

Спасибо! Он был покрыт УФ-смолой, достаточно прочной для форели и окуня, но я согласен, недостаточно прочной для судака или щуки. Для этого я обычно использую более твердую древесину или полиуретановую смолу. Спасибо за просмотр!

Hi Mike, yeah this is my first you tube lure making vid on this channel anyway :) I have done a fair bit on facebook and thought I may as well do it on my own channel. I make and design lots of lures, so I look forward to sharing more of what I do!

@@JakeSchogler I've built over 230 wooden lures, some typical, some older style, and some novelty just for the person. I mostly just give them to family and friends, but have kept a few for myself. I look forward to seeing more. 🙂
