:) that's alright. Ya know, there are several bait companies that make similar bait that should work pretty close to the same. They may not have excellent hooks but they'll definitely do the job. You could also try a super spook jr by Heddon. Thanks for watching.

I've experienced this as well, but only with foil pattern finishes like aurora black or tennessee shad. What color is yours?

@prestont1997 ;) Hmmmm...... Depends. I love to fish ripbaits. Probably my favorite technique. I have LOTS of them by different manufacturers and LC makes a great ripbait. They have a great color selection, components, and most of all, quality. These attributes translate across their entire line of hardbaits. Let me put it to you this way; all prices aside, if you take LC and all of those brands that you named and had to choose the nicest one, it would MOST LIKELY be the LC. ------

I throw topwater more than anything else and this lure is my bread and butter. Im not sure you can beat them. There is a rod designated for throw just sammys in my boat. If you listen to it closely the sound it makes is an exact copy a shad makes when it "flicks" the surface of the water. Well worth the money. I would put them up against any of my more expensive topwater lures any day of the week.

dang dude you're living well if the fish are hitting topwater right now. I'm propbably about a month or so out from a good topwater bite. Can't wait to throw a Pop Max, or any topwater for that matter. Nice review.

@prestont1997 ------ with all that being said, it's up to you to choose if they are worth the money. All those other brands will definitely do the job, but sometimes LCs do it a little better with their great colors, sharp hooks, solid construction, and action that works the way it should right out of the box without having to modify the bait. Just my 2 cents.

Good vid. Alright be totally honest with me about this. ha! Are Lucky Crafts worth the money? I buy alot of Spooks, 1.5's, X-Raps, and other Strike King baits. Do u think the extra 8$ to 10$ is worth it. Also is the action alot different because that magority of the lakes i fish is i muddy/stained. So color and extra detail doesnt make a whole lot of diference. Thx

;) I've never used the wooden Sammy but I wouldn't count on it being more durable than the plastic version. - I love the ss jr. They walk easily to. But hooks, finishes and design are still favored for the Sammy in my opinion. - aurora black is a dynamite color and people will swear by the older, beat up ones with chipped foil like yours. So don't throw in the garbage yet!! If you want more durable finishes, stick with the transparent colors like "ghost" colors as these are very durable.
