This is very delicate stuff. All plastics. I am using Vespa Super 150 cc, 1970 model since Mar 1970. Tough and reliable. Unfortunately Vespa is not being manufactured in Pakistan since mid 1990. Great shortage of spares which are imported from India via some other country. Great machine. Love it.

I needed this. Thank you I broke my bulb after dropping the bike 😢 (first time I’ve ever dropped a bike) I found out a few plastic tabs had broken too, but it went back together. I also lost the screw in the center like you warned against (it fell inside never to be found) I replaced it with a stainless screw. Thx again Safe riding

I never take the front panel out, as the original driver goes nicely to the screw, without the handle. Changed today on mine, easy routine, pleenty easier thang change bulbs to Fiat Stilo ;-)

Great video mate, really helpful. If you haven't got a clasp or a magentic screwdriver for the screw under the headset then putting a rag over the void could help to save it from falling into the void... at least that's what I'm going to have to do. Thanks for your help with little job.

@@LurgsHowToGuides I wasn't getting a main beam so decided to replace the bulb, turns out that the bulb fitted is a HID bulb that doesn't have a main beam. Apparently the bi-beam bulbs are too big to fit in a Vespa housing so will have to stick with the conversion. On the bright side I've learned something about my GTS today.

The bulb may have been put in the wrong way round. Or maybe filament has broken

dont understand why taken the front horn panel out , seem the panel wont affect the lamp hood take off

You will find it's almost impossible to remove the underside headlamp screw without taking off the Horn front panel.

Not really but bulbs only have a limited life, and don't forget once the Vespa is running the main headlight is ON permanently.
