This is very sad and total negligence.And these things happen a lot in our hospitals,just that a lot of people doesn't know their rights and where to start from.May justice prevail for this poor child.

This is sad... I went for medical checkup and the person attended to me was a student which I questioned the authority they told me his the one on duty today and I could see he was struggling i left despite paying better I go for a private one than government. Also my late uncle was given a wrong medicine while in hospital and after about 6 months we were told that the meds were wrong which affected him with skin burn. This must come to an end because we are talking about lives... This nurse who did must pay for the negligence

GNC should ensure Nurses adhere to laid down policies when it comes to undertaking clinical procedures , coz we deal with lives hence need to pay attention undertaking procedures as per protocols . Disciplinary action need to be taken /investigations thoroughly by GNC .

What a sad turnout of things. We play too much with life in our country. I know of some of the people who had failed grade 12 rewrote a number of time and still failed. But these people found themselves in a nursing school where they also failed a number of times but eventually went through to become nurses. Now, this is dangerous because such people can't be expected to use their minds and apply them critically and that is the result of this baby😢😢😢

This system of using student nurses and Doctors. These are the end results. I've see 5 student nurses struggling to put a cannula on a patient. And all 5 failed while the patient was in pain. Pathetic😡

Very sad news & the clinic should be sued for compensation. Here no nurse gives medicines on their own. So UTH just went for amputation without fighting to save the arm?
@AnnaKamfwa-l9nАй бұрын
I feel the pain of the mother it happened to me when my boy was three months old when I discovered the boy's arm sorwn I told the nurse's they said I'm not the nurse to know what to do the baby is fat so there's no need of removing the canure. I just removed it myself because the baby was crying terribly they shouted at me but the poor baby had a deep sore

Please nurses stop killing us your attitude towards patients is very bad. How can you feel if this was to be done to your child. I can imagine the pain this baby went through such that even the parents complaining no one took it serious shame upon that nurse and doctor

That nurse was not supposed to be a nurse, maybe a fishmonger. Sure if u don't know u can't tell some one to help u ... Now look at the angel,born very well iwe wamulemanika. Come ku market we sell cipumi bcoz next udza paya muntu nurse wa mu ntemba yafikopa iwe. Let authority deal with those who were on duty that day.
