Why are you using the grater like this?’ 😳 The lemon will go all over the place. Grab a bowl, and move the lemon on top of the facing down grater.

I am using a microplane zester. It has special sides that keep all the zest contained with the microplane. Here is a link to what I use in Amazon. You can see the photos how the sides are curled up.
