With maize flour and polenta, Let The Good Times Roll is a gentle, self-preserving cleanser that will keep your whole body clean and smooth from head to toe.
We caught up with Brynn and Kevin from our manufacturing team to see how this scrumptious face and body cleanser gets its good looks and yummy scent.
First, water, polenta and glycerin are blended together along with vitamin-rich corn oil to create a smooth mixture.
A yummy, sweet fragrance is then added to give it an irresistible popcorn-like scent and then the whole thing comes together with warming cinnamon, talc and maize flour to add to the soft, gentle exfoliation.
Made entirely without synthetic preservatives, it’ll make your skin feel as irresistible as it smells!

With the strong ecological emphasis that LUSH has I was surprised to see talc used in this product. Much talc is contaminated with small amounts of asbestos.

@Freckledbananapeel Thanks for letting me know! I'm hyper-aware of the problems with asbestos. My father was the rector of a small church near Manheim PA where a two plants that manufactured asbestos brake linings for cars and trucks and asbestos tile were major employers. This was just about when they discovered that asbestos was carcinogenic. The deaths in the parish from asbestos related cancers were greater than any other cause of death.

I was never into lush until I found out how fresh thier products are from these videos... Now I'm obsessed I can't Rember what it was called but it was this ginger and coco butter bath melt.. Would love to know how they was made.. I love it and since I recently moved I dont even have a bath I only have a shower. I just slice thin slices of it off and rub it on my wet skin after I have washed in the shower and let it soak in a bit and then wash it off... I love it 😍

How is it self preserving with glycerin in? I understand if it's anhydrous but glycerin is water soluble. There has to be a preservative in it and I think it's likely hidden in the fragrance
