Lush, Hypocrite ... Why I love this song

Part 2 of my Lush re-addiction. I feel a need to explain why I love this band 15 years later. A completely different song from Part 1, Light from the Dead Star. Quite sassy. Angry. Ironic.

All I can say is ... when Miki Berenyi sang THIS IS MY SONG .... I almost fell out of my chair. It is her song, she gets to tell it her way. It's a very clever, surprisingly complex piece of pop music.
