It sounds like a song from the "Split" album. Kind of the missing piece of it.

I always loved all the 3/4 and 9/8 time signature songs they made. A relic from the 60’s and 70’s I guess. Very folky. Love it.

So sad they split. Got to see them twice in my life. First time was April 1991 at Slim's in San Francisco at the height of their popularity and 26 years later at Terminal 5 in New York.

So glad I was able to see their last ever US show at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland. I spent a good amount of the show watching the faces of the audience watching the band, knowing that we we're all thinking and feeling the same things. Got to meet the band afterwards where they were nice enough to sign records and take photos.

Love the fact they came back (albeit not for long) and did proper Lush songs...didn't pander but came back and did classic Lush again. So chuffed I saw them one last time at the Roundhouse last year. Amazing night, and an amazing band. #shoegazeforever :-)

My favourite Lush song so far...and that is saying something. Loved seeing this live!

I started listening to this band in 1992 when I was 15 and Lush always reminded me of youth. As they age, it’s a barometer of how much older I’ve gotten. Oh well…C’est la vie.

i found out about Lush and all the other great indy stuff from college radio and mtv 120 minutes, so much great music going on, that wasnt getting mainstream radio play.. hearing alice in chains on zrock, which was an AM station.. its shame there wasnt FM alternative stations back then, for stone roses, catherine wheel, lush., charlatans, soundgarden, stereolab.. and leaving out 100 other great bands..

Special talent = special music = very special moments in music history like this. It needs only appreciation, affectionate memory and genuine comprehension when it's come and gone. And now it's gone (again). Just like that.

People are always quick to say that about female musicians. I never hear anyone lamenting the aging of Steven Tyler or Iggy Pop. I'm just glad they had the energy to give us one last tour for those that never got to see them in the 90s.

@matthewdavies2057 Жыл бұрын
They know it. When they played this gig they wore all black. Even her signature red hair was black. It looked like they were at a wake. Middle aged, low energy. Lush is gone and may it rest in peace. Little Red Riding Hood (Piroshka) has energy from the new members.
