I watched this video with my husband on the Roku. I had to come say that when my son was in 7th grade, he was completely convinced that I could not pull a successful prank for April fools. What was a supposed to do? Ignore the challenge? No. It was a school day. While he was school I covered his ceiling fan blades with confetti. When he went upstairs to his room after school, all I heard was “MOM!!” It was worth the clean up.

About security. In training we were shown a clip of two Loss & Prevention guys approaching a guy in a parking lot. Without saying who they were they tried stopping him, which leads to the guy panicking having no idea whats going on, so he pulls out a boxcutter and stabs one of the LP's. Its an example for why its important to say who you are when approaching, but the point here being as i was told this was what led to the place employing a hands-off policy.

The old lady on the rascal!!😂 I had a neighbor who did the exact same thing but 20x worse! We lived in cow country nd she had a big pasture with a few cows surrounded by an electric fence. I was at her house helping her out nd to give you a visual this lady was 400+ and close to 80yo. I was inside and saw her going to the cows in her rascal but instead of stopping she ducked thinking she'd go under, and FYI she thought the fence was off, but it wasn't😬 I heard a scream and she had gotten the electric fence caught between her back and the back of her chair!!! I screamed for my husband who came running over, I ran into the out building to shut the fence off and after it was all said and done we all had a good laugh about it, but she had a line burn across her low back from the fence. I don't know what possessed her to try nd go into the cow field? She never had done that before, at least that I knew of!😂

I have worked in a grocery store for a month shy of a year now and today, we had 7 thefts from 5 shoplifters. Yes, that means multiple in a day. Minor, petty, a few small products at a time mostly. But the store wants us to prevent this theft without doing anything, pretty explicitly in our training. So most of the time we watch them run out while wagging a finger and setting authorities know... who don't see any priority in responding most of the time of course.
