No ‘poo? We got you. Avocado Co-wash is our #solid #shampoo that’s perfect for curly, dyed or natural hair types that have done away with the ritual of daily shampoo. Katie from our manufacturing team shows us how we make this ultra-moisturizing cleanser with fresh avocados and a special blend of unique oils to keep hair silky-soft and smooth-and all without the heavy lather. It lets you wash and condition in a single step and won’t strip your hair of its natural oils. And with its fruity bergamot scent, it’ll keep your mood as happy as your locks!

my penis is unbelievably small, theres tons of sunlight and I have massive pots that they’re in. They aren’t large enough yet to transfer outdoors. You should really KZbin “how to grow an avocado tree”. It’s super simple. Perhaps do your research before you and your small penis are sassy to people online.

Traditional co washing is what a lot of African American women do, like I'll wash my hair with shampoo 1once a week and for the 3 consecutive weeks I'll just use conditioner. Helps the natural oils and needed oils stay in your hair.

Actually washing hair with shampoo allows your scalp to replenish the natural oils in the scalp. Conditioners are purely cosmetic. They can't nourish hair because the hair is not alive. Only the very roots and the scalp are alive and conditioners just make the hair look good but don't nourish it. I shake my head whenever I have a young female patient who uses conditioner all the time instead of a shampoo. I'm a dermatologist and I rarely ever use conditioners.

proudblackjynx African hair needs extra TLC so co washing or oil rinsing every once in a while is very useful. Hair is not alive but it needs to be conditioned to remain soft like any fabric or fiber that experiences high manipulation.

I wish sometimes they would describe things better. I would describe a co-wash as a curly hair method in which on days you don’t shampoo, you co-wash with conditioner, and that this product is a version of that method in which the conditioning product actually cleanses your hair slightly rather than just using conditioner which people would normally do. I know people who don’t have curly hair co-wash but it primarily comes from that method and I kinda wish they would state that.

I was pretty disappointed with how weak the moisturizing effects were on my thick, coarse, and color treated hair. It seemed like I used a good amount because I spent a good 5 minutes rubbing it all over my hair. All the reviews on KZbin made it seem like its super moisturizing so to be careful not to overuse it, so I was a bit let down. I then tried Aveda's dry remedy shampoo and conditioner and the moisturizing was insane! My hair felt so smooth, soft, and shiny. Simply amazing.

SLS does remove excess oils, but it works well within this product because the first ingredients are cocoa butter, cupuacu butter, and fresh avocado. It very gently removes oils you've amassed throughout the day and replaces it with rich moisturizers. So you are still cleansing your scalp when you use it (SLS, apple cider vinegar).

キングスレー that's not what she said, she didn't say it's bad for your scalp and hair, although it is, it's the fact that it does strip hair dye like fucking crazy and makes me dying my hair absolutely pointless.

I got a sample of this stuff and let me first start off by asking if anyone else thinks it smells like fruit loops or is it just me? ❤️ Anyway, the girl that works at the Providence location was very nice and demonstrated it for me on her arm and explained its usage. I was skeptical to use it because a) I have color treated hair (almost black) and b) I didn’t think it would work for well with my hair type. So I sat on it for a while until I decided “what the hell, I can always get my hair dyed again”, and let me tell you, I’m glad I did. My hair is SO SHINY AND BOUNCY. It’s never flowed in the wind like this before!! I’m not sure if it’s because I used it in conjunction with R&B Hair Moisturizer but I’m in awe. I DID see some dye from my hair going down the drain when I rinsed the co-wash out, and I’m not a hair expert but I think that’s normal with hair that’s dyed nearly black? I assume this is accurate because I’ve used several different shampoos that claim to be color-safe while having my hair this color and I’ve seen a lot of stripping. Either that, or the dye used in my hair is shitty because I wash my hair with cold water. 🤷‍♀️ Bottom line, Idc if this product is stripping, it works amazingly on my hair!!!!!

Hi there, Stephany! We recommend peeling the wax off and then either rubbing the bar down the length of your hair, or taking a pinch of product and working it through. While we don't recommend keeping it directly in the shower due to risk of melting, you can definitely keep it on your counter or in your bath room!

It'll be much better for your hair if you eat those avocados and olive oil, rather than putting it on your scalp and then washing it 2 minutes later.

TheTR1358 it’s the conditioner. Conditioner is going to stop the entire hair from getting dry, therefore brittle. Consuming it will make the hair thicker but it can’t change the hair externally as that hair is dead.

Why do you put wax on it???
@LUSH
@LUSH 7 жыл бұрын
We use a beautifully contrasting red wax to help the product stay fresh for longer. As you saw, we use real fresh avocados in the creation of Avocado Co-wash, and avocados tend to brown when oxidizing. The red wax will help keep our love conditioning hair wash the freshest for the longest! ☺

These arent all natural and actually a lot of these products have potentially cancer causing ingredients. You should research each item and pick the safest, that's what i do. There are other companies that make completely safe and all natural products like 100% Pure.

I have tried this product. I have 2c-3a curls and long hair. It was really hard to work with because the bar has a buttery type of consistency and it didn't lather up in my hair. It lived up to its promise, I had a lot less, frizz and really curly hair. It left my hair feeling thick and almost a bit "waxy" I will not be using it regularly since it was really hard to work with and a bit too heavy for my hair, I prefer loose curls. But I would recommend it for persons with short and really dry hair:)! I think its easier to lather up when you have short hair.
