That's why he forces a new "family", Moxxie and Millie as coworkers he can use to live out his romantic ideations through while being their employer and Loona as an adopted daughter in his mind means she's forced to love him. With him as the figurehead he believes this family can't leave him. Blitz has levels and levels of trauma and issues.

31:43 @ a_okay_gamer mentions a really great and upsetting point. Stolas, even without his grimoire, can open portals to teleport whenever he choses. He used it in the last episode, to find and save I.M.P. when Loona had the grimoire with her, but couldn’t read the spell in the bad light. And we saw in the beginning of the episode, he got ready to meet with Blitzø outside of Ozzie’s, and showed up by opening a portal, mere feet away from Blitzø. What we’re getting at is, if Stolas wanted, he could’ve just said goodbye to Blitzø right outside the club, and just opened a portal to go home. But he CHOSE to sit passenger in Blitzø’s van and be driven home, just to spend the uncomfortable, silent (who knows how long) drive home, after what just went down in Ozzie’s, in front of dozens of people…JUST to be with Blitzø a little longer. And Blitzø, TOO, didn’t kick him out the car, or tell him to just leave on his own. Neither stood up for each other in the club, but at th same time, following the incident, both of them could’ve done far worse. They’re both hurting, but past Blitzø’s dismissive and defensive remark to Stolas’s proposal to just talk at his place afterwards (which we know falls in line with his inner-turmoil with finding intimacy, as depicted in “Truth Seekers”), they both chose to spend that uncomfortable car ride home together. 🥺😭

Also, during the part when Asmodeus called out Stolas he looked away from him, unlike Moxxie and Millie. Millie stood up for Moxxie even after being called out and laughed at. However, Stolas hid his face when he was called out for being with one of the lower class, an Imp. So to Blitzø that was basically confirmation that Stolas didn’t love him. Hence why he said what he said before he drove off. Also, notice when he gets to his apartment that in all of the photos strewn throughout his place he’s scratched out of all of them. Also, further showing how Blitzø views Stolas, Blitzø’s first pic in his phone is of him being in bed with a sleeping Stolas. Showing that he does actually love him. When you go back and watch it with Rich look at how Stolas addresses Blitzø. He always seems to be demeaning towards him, even though we know he’s not trying to be. That’s exactly what Blitzø sees though. Which is why in his dream sequence in the last episode he sees Stolas and thinks of himself as being in chains. More like Stolas is controlling him, but he sees him on a golden throne showing that he thinks very highly of him.
