It's hard to hear and I've struggled as well, but then they don't fear God as much as they should. Granted the ways God chooses to lead ppl is different and sometimes ppl are willing to change old habits and for others, it may take some time. Regardless there's nothing we can do to separate us from the Lord's love but He knows our hearts. The end goal should be to be more like Christ as we aim to be pure and sex before marriage (as we know in the Bible) isn't something He desires for us. I lived in sexual immorality for years before coming to Christ. I lived my life led by my feelings and lust which led me to so many abusive relationships. But praise God, He saved me 3 years ago and I have been walking in purity with Jesus and He has transformed my life and given me a new heart and a new Spirit. It's not about giving up sex (God is not against sex, He created sex, for marriage). It is about giving up doing sex my way (or the world's way) and instead, trusting the Lord and doing things God's way and the way He planned and intended for sex to be, in the context of marriage between husband and wife. Whether I am called to a season OR lifetime of singleness, I am content and made whole with Jesus! He is more than enough. Amen!

This is a great honest, in depth video. For someone who has struggled with lust for SO many years, and living how I want to live, this is the hottest topic in my personal opinion not only for myself but the world as we know it. The hardest pill to swallow is in fact that he gave us our life, and these bodies that chamber it are not meant for us to use as we desire. That is a daily hardship for me, and im sure others. I’m getting married this December and my church requires engaged couples to meet with married couples (aka sponsors) who are actively in the church and we’re working on this Catholic marriage book and one of the topics we talked about was sex before marriage. At the time, my fiancé and I were having premarital sex and I always felt a sense of guilt but chose to ignore it because I thought that this was the norm. Tell me why our sponsor couple looked us dead in the face and said, “You want to get married in His church and have a covenant with God yet you don’t want to follow his teachings on sex?” Hit us both pretty hard and that same night we decided to abstain from sex until we get married 😂 sometimes the Lord has to be blunt with us cause I for sure was stubborn and defensive about this topic but man, the peace I feel now while abstaining is so worth it.

I enjoyed this so much because I myself am struggling with sexual immorality and I know it’s very wrong and I have been asking God to give me the courage to walk away from it but it has been challenging for me because I have a child with this person and he is currently with the income. I have been with my current boyfriend for 8 years, I am 39 years old. We co-habitat together and I have such grief about this because we've built an entire life together and he's like a father to my 14-year-old. I pray to God every day for forgiveness & also for guidance in what I should do. I know getting married would be our best choice but there is a fear there as I have been divorced before and it was really hard for me, I know God will bring me through it and I am really hoping that one day I will feel forgiven by my Lord for this transgression. First off you are so slay and so amazing and I just adore this podcast, I’ve been listening and following since probably the girlypop podcast so it’s been so amazing to see you grow and change since the beginning of your journey. It’s actually really crazy but I think we became saved around the same time from how you keep describing it and I just love listening and knowing that I’m not alone in it. Anyway the reason I messaged is because i would love for you to do an episode on heartbreak. You mentioned in this video that you were under the impression that you would be with this guy forever, you had sex before marriage and you are obviously not with him anymore and how it was difficult to get over him. I am in that exact season right now. I just broke up with my high school boyfriend of 3 years and we also participated in “activities” before marriage and he ended things in what feels like such a tragic way and I feel like I’m never gonna find anything better since i basically just gave up my purity. How can I find grace, worth and healing and just let go of the anger of that and find the joy and faith that Christ redeems? How can you move on from such a loving relationship after realizing it wasn’t as loving and caring as you thought? How can someone find themselves again in Christ when the other person basically told you that they couldn’t see the Christ in you? I’d love to hear your testimony and just keep going girl you are doing the Lord’s work and it’s GOOD!

Actually the most important part is the following - Acts of the Apostles 2:38 NLT Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.
