My God the 1960s architects and town planners have something to answer for. The demolition of so many historic buildings is so depressing.

I remember the Queens visits she was dressed in yellow, To look at Luton in the 50s is now a land we forget, what it is now bears no resemblance to that once proud town. Anyone remember blundells ?
@MachiavellisApprentice-nv4dx8 ай бұрын
Yes, and I remember they still used those vacuum tube thingies for cash and receipts. Also remember the Co-Op superstore, even the old library and swimming baths before they trashed it for the wretched Arndale. I was sitting on my dad's shoulders for the Queen's visit and I had to tell him what I could see.

Pity the video wasn’t clearer. Hard to try and see if I could see a very young parent as a boy.

That's out of line. Filth? Our town is beautiful! In the years I have lived here, there's so much to celebrate. So much culture, so much life and community. I can't wait to see what the future holds for Luton. There is so much beauty to discover, how sad it is that you are unable to recognise such things.

Biggest filth is yourself. Bigoted person bloody ass hole idiot.

true man I think you’ll find you’re pointing the ‘bigoted finger’ in the wrong direction. It was you referring to ‘filth’ arriving in our culturally fruitful town, and it was me who was celebrating it :)
