Hi, way a range of quality for save the LUT? it's not a filter?

Hi @pieralessi7426! Are you asking why is there a quality setting for the exported LUT? I do not know exactly what the quality setting does. But I think there is a mapping of input colors to output colors. Making a LUT that covers ALL colors precisely would result in an insanely big file, so it needs to be an approximation. The quality setting (I believe) determines the accuracy of the approximation. James Ritson from Affinity once wrote an interesting article on LUTs that you may find interesting: affinityspotlight.com/article/1d-vs-3d-luts/ Hope this helps! Trent

What file types can you use for infer lut? I noticed you used PNG, but is that the only file type? What about tiff, jpeg , etc. thanks !

Hi @drwatsonismine, I don't know the complete list, but the file chooser dropdown shows many options including JPG, GIF, TIFF, WEBP and more. I'm sure any standard graphics format that Affinity can read will work. Hope this helps!

I have learned so much from your tutorials. Something I noticed is the fill colour is set to like a dark grey. Is it possible to set it to black as default? I'm getting annoyed having to change it all the time.

Hi @dccd673...which fill color do you mean? The fill color for shapes? I find that it remembers the last fill color I used.

Is there a way to set a default LUTs holding folder in Photo2; a single folder where all one's LUTs can be stored for quick retrieval? I'm just not seeing a setting for setting that..... Thanks in advance.

Hi @richardc8129, I have never tried it, but according to the Affinity Forums (from 2018), on Windows, they are stored in: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Affinity\Photo\1.0\user\adjustments.propcol Reference: forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/55084-a-photo-lut-presets-file-folder/ If that doesn't work, you can try asking on the forums again. It may have changed in the last 6 years since V2. Hope this helps! Trent

don't know why its not loading the file, and when I press the file from my downloads say that "the file it is not an affinity file"
