I am sitting in the terriory that I used to work, live and play on. I left this rural life and longtime Nursing practice for beloved community of people that I served because the administration just was not seeing me for who I was. I took the brave way and took care of myself and struck out to return to an urban center where I also knew my Nursing skills had a special place. Now, four years later I am reflecting on what it was to shed a skin when sometimes we are not quite ready but have to step into the uncomfortable, in the name of making great art we must be willing to grow. Lutrell has been the thematic background music to my journey. jk

ive been around since day one in the late 80s and early 90s, hung out with MOBY when he would come and spin in DC, been good friends with Scott henry since buzzlife years..i have seen AFX TWIN in a small club of less than 100....i have seen the movement come, get used and abused, become commercialized and spit out..its been decades since ive heard anything "new" that wasnt a direct steal fromn the innovators. but i will say..
