Yeah. It was great. We did it in style. Took my daughter and stayed at a hotel 50 yards up the road. It was a great show, and a sweet story to document. Audience were great. Didn't get to explore much outside the Kazimier and hotel, but it was a sunny and warm Liverpool, and it felt good.

It's quite an intimate venue from memory. How many were there? Couldn't have been more than 150 I'd guess. Sounds like they all had a great time though. Any sign of any record companies sniffing around Lou?. Gotta be really hard to release an LP independently these days.

Hey Alan. Yes, I just noticed that tldp post appearing in the WhatsApp fan group which is exponentially swelling. I think we could see even them touring together. I think most of their exposure has come through TikTok, but Radio One is surely about to bring a whole extra raft of fans through. My stats, which surely can’t be accurate show gender/age for viewers as F 100% 18-24 100%. It has just broadened to include the next age bracket, which maybe the R1 listeners. Re acoustic set. I would love to publish it, and have the blessing of the band to do so, but there is an issue with the sound due to wind noise from an overhead fan during their quieter moments which kinda ruins the vibe, so I’ve been trying to obtain the audio recorded by their sound engineers via various routes, so far to no avail. I’ve emailed them directly as a last attempt, and will upload it as is unless I hear back. Gonna go and see them again soon. I won’t be filming them though.

Gotta have Matador. I watched a ten second bit of a video about closed captions in some Indian language, enough to realise that the song would have to be cut up into individual lines and pasted into the right part. Obvious really, but she's quite verbose in her songs, so that's a lot of pasting!

I did have a try at this, and had updated four songs with lyrics. There is an auto version and a manual version. Sometimes when you use the auto, it does a pretty good job, with just small positional changes needed, but sometimes it messes it totally up. If you depth from one to the other, it rearranges all the ones you've painstakingly got right and messes them up again. Spent a lot of time on it, then erased the whole lot as it has unravelled so badly. I may try again. 😬

@parchmento there is a way to make an .srt file like you use to subtitle a film. This can be uploaded to add to the video, so it syncs up properly. I did see that literally as a few lines I scanned when looking into it. If you're at all techy, you could maybe do it.
