Such a great use of metaphor. I love the association between coming in crawling on all fours and being a bull seeing red. It's so consistently portrayed throughout the lyrics, like with the line about the china, too. You really don't see a lot of that in music, which is a shame because it adds so much to an already great song. Just passively processing the lyrics is its own journey that takes you through this entire relationship and the full range of emotions leading to this impassioned outburst of creativity and emotion. I'd say God bless you, but he already has.

I am hungry for more of these songs. First listen I was like ok this is good, second listen I was like wait.... THIS IS REALLY GOOD. 3rd Listen was like, wait the lyrics are so sad... but THE SONG IS SOO GOOD. I've also listened to He's My Man too. I'm so hooked on both of these songs.
