Okay I haven’t gotten the chance to watch the entire video yet (roughly have way through), but I think this is becoming one of, if not my favorite Luvcat gig/concert you’ve posted so far! Love her playing the piano during Matador and I can’t believe she performed spider😭💞

It’s definitely the lushest of settings, and I’m thrilled to have been invited to film it. It’s great that we’ve caught her now in both of the locations she’s immortalised in song.

The last time I’ve felt this way about a band, it was Sleep Token. I know they’ll get huge. I genuinely adore her discography

the way this entire performance was orchestrated is so captivating and so fitting for the setting. I’ve been so engrossed in Luvcat recently, they have a very unique sound that makes them so enjoyable to listen to. I can’t wait to hear everything when they’re released!! (especially love and money) Thank you for capturing such a great performance :)

I love when the rare male vocalist takes over for the final part, it was one of those musical moments that made me prick up and fully take attention. I really love when moments like that are used importantly and sparingly in music it really adds weight and importance to it.

Late September in the city The sky is gray, the air is sticky I keep falling in and out of sleep Lettin' the sun scorch the grass The flies are knockin' on the glass But they're the only other friends I have, you see I need him so much that it hurts I wish he didn't have to go to work And I just lie and watch the ceiling fan turn He's my man, we're hand in hand To hell and back And I'll love him like nobody else can He's my man, I've been damned No, nobody has to understand Me and my man I stay home and make his dinner Even though somehow he keeps gettin' thinner I wait, watchin' the washing machine spin 'round and 'round again I need him so much that it hurts I wish he didn't have to go to work He keeps complainin' that his vision's blurred He's my man, we're hand in hand To hell and back And I'll love him like nobody else can He's my man, I've been damned No, nobody has to understand Me and my man He keeps havin' feverish dreams That he can never, ever leave He wakes, head aches, funny taste to his tea I want him to stay here forever He's happiest with me 'Cause he He's my man And I'll love him like nobody else can He's my man, he's gone quite mad No, nobody has to understand Me and my man

I think it was written by Dan Lyons. You could ask him. It is a beauty. I saw Dan perform it the other day, and thought hang on a minute, i know this tune. Sophie was in the crowd, so I asked her.
