Thank you so much. I needed this updated guide lol. You described everything so well. I have to admit the music does interfere with your voice sometimes but I was still able to receive all the info I needed. Oh one thing, I kept forgetting to save my texture mask and the hair wouldn't show up in object mode so i thought something was wrong 😆once I realized that and fixed it everything went smoothly. Thanks again.❣

As soon as I click on hair children the hair dissepear. Same when I apply any hair style effect. Any idea how to fix this?

This looks fantastic. I'm really nervous about getting started with hair creation, and I appreciate how much this seems to make the process more intuitive (I really feel the thing about getting the controls for a spaceship when you just want a bicycle). I would love to see a tutorial on how to create something like the braided hairstyle about one minute in--that's exactly the type of style I'm hoping I can learn to make for one of my characters!

Yeah it is possible to do that , i can add that option, the only hesitation is that vertex groups would require the mesh to be quite subdivided
