Favorite feature HAS to be the variety of windows and their placements! You basically can see out to the front yard from anywhere at the front of the home. This home is remarkable - great work!

One of my favorite hill country homes. I especially like the variety of windows, the natural light, warm, earth toned finishes throughout and the wood/metal siding accents and modern roof lines. I would certainly do some things differently, but from a design and inspiration perspective this is awesome, and well done. I disagree with the commenter that was complaining about the taste specific details - it is a custom home and anyone would have preferences and ideas that would differ if being built for them. I also disagree with the commenter stating there is too much talking- while I agree I often like to just see the home and not hear talking, in some videos, especially those intended to convey design details and highlight interesting features, the commentary is a nice touch. In this case I think it is well done, and the production value, audio, and video is well done and shows a good deal of work went into it. Thanks for showing the home. Any chance you all would share a basic floor plan for the home to see the layout and room dimensions better? Would you all consider building in the Kerrville area?

So many missed opportunities. . .study is tiny-should have built in bookcases and the light coming through those windows would require the desk to be against the far wall. The stone arched accent before entering the kitchen contrasts too much with the linear modern design in a bad way-like the designer forgot they were making a modern house. No entry to the back patio from the dining room? Jeez. Cheap tile floor in the entry way that clashes with the modern wood design? Holy moly. I could go on but I stopped watching after the kitchen. Just weird.
