This was one the MOST GORGEOUS villa/ house/ mansion i've seen, looks like living in a museum or an art gallery, most people won't like it, but to me, just feel special, and you can see how the houses of today has no life, i mean, everything is just white walls, with with floors, with white marble, here we can se character, different colors, and i'm absolute astonished by the art pieces on the walls.

The dining room took my breath away. The color of the walls, the ceiling, the natural light. The location is so ideal if you want to be near Firenze but not “in” the city.

Hi xine91468 yes the location is perfect, you are surrounded by nature and can only hear the birds chirping but a 15 min walk from the center perfect to go shopping!!! :D Stefanie

0700 today,, drinking my morning coffee and watch the smily face of stefanie,wearing beautifull shoes and with her so elegant walking to present this amazing property👌👌👌👌...... it's something unique!!! every room,every corner is a piece of art {even the guestbathroom for example}.... about the grotto {must be as a small cellar or something like a secret room} also the episodes with stefanie can have a name like { stefanie house hunter} greetings from greece athens

Hi Loganmercury... Absolutely the tree is such a special touch to the property! The floors are cotto tiles which are tipical of Tuscany, in fact as you mentioned they are present in various videos. :) Stefanie

Hi Stefanie, Really nice house, there is just something about rustic houses. My favourite was the color of the interior and the dining room with the vaulted ceilings. P.S. kudos on walking up the gravel path and cobble stairs in those heels ;)

Back in 1997 I had the opportunity to visit Florence with a tour group. It is a lovely city. Not only is the villa too large, it is beyond my budget.

Stefanie, I have a question: How do Italian’s deal with the flying insects at night, which are attracted to lights, during your fabulous evening dinner parties? In South Florida everyone’s home has an aluminum screened cage over outdoor reaction area to keep the flying insects which are attracted to light from spoiling a nice evening.

Hi Peter, that is an interesting question... there are less flying insects then you would think in Italy! In fact many properties don’t have screens on the doors, but could be easily added if requested. I must say that no evening soirée that I have hosted or been to has ever been ruined due di insects, only lovely evenings :) Stefanie

Angel. as usual, house show, this mansion can be changed from this sad old colors to a happy colors and more lights, for example the red room is truly dark and real sad all ceilings need to be painted white or at least a light happy color. too much yellow color and master bedroom is a disaster, it really needs a lighter color, drapes must all be changed to show more happiness and light, this mansion needs a young artist to take this building from dead place to a live and happy place. it needs a large Lap pool, 25 meters by 8 meters.

Please don't make a swimmingpool out of the fountain. The grotta inside the house is interesting. I'd make a small chapel out of it, where I can pray before dining.
