Stunning tank - yeah cleaning the sandbed is terrible but a mixed reef like this is SO HARD! I love my yellow tail tamarin - always wanted a red tail / psyche head but then Hawaii shut down. I've only had her for a couple of months and yeah... now that you say it I think it's not eating pellets. I'm in the EU and moved from TM Pro Reef to Grotech as the Ca and Mg are added seperately but I went back as it's so difficult. For me TM is A LOT cheaper than Fauna Marin so I won't switch and I think it's close in quality - I care about the quality especially the trace. I am a big fan of Fauna Marin though, buying corals through them and I LOVE the products I use - especially Min . Happy reefing!

Hi, I also use fauna marin salt and balling light, their products are a good quality price balance. I have a white bare bottom is looking much better than a black one witch I had in the past. In Europe🇩🇪🇨🇭 are some great exempels of minimalist white bare bottom tanks👌

Tropic Marin CarboCalcium, Tropic Marin BioMagnesium, Tropic Marin Trace A & K Elements, Red Sea AB+ daily! Fish are feed pellets daily and frozen mysis a few times a week.

They diffuse and combine the light spectrums to simulate more natural light sources and try to eliminate the disco ball effect some LEDs give off!

Yeah, outside of what Ecotech says for marketing I’m not sure what they do! I don’t personally have an Radions so I’ve never had to use them. I can say that they for sure make the lights less of a strain on the eye to look at for any kids, pets, or when you’re just looking up at the tank!

It can get complex, but that’s only if you want it to! My tank is able to run by itself for over 10 days (which I’ve done twice), so in order to achieve that I had lots of gadgets for sure 😂

What light schedule do you use

The ReefBreeder Photon peaks for about 5 hours at 9-9-85-43-85-85! But it’s also important to note my lights are mounted ~16” off the surface of the water!

If your light is mounted at the more standard 10”-14”, I’d recommend around 7-7-70-35-70-70 for general LPS/SPS lighting schedule! That’s what I used to run it before I mounted my lights to the wall to raise them to the 16” point! Hope that helps some

It’s so whack. Another tank with a bunch of dollar signs underwater packed too close together with no originality or character. Thor in AZ did the real Bonsai aquascape 20 years ago. Stores are just copying the look of Reef Culture too and their Elos tanks.
