Not going to lie, I was a bit concerned when I first saw how narrow the bathroom was but the finished room is epic. I think with hindsight the tiling debarkle might have been a blessing because having too many different textures and colours might have made it look too cluttered and therefore smaller. Love the shower area and the addition of that lovely stool for when bathing kids, better than building it in and then not needing it after a few years.

The layout and colour palette works so well (good tip for adding colours with the bath towels- will do this) and the room has a spacious feel. Another fabulous make-over. 🥰 - looking forward to the next!!!

Beautiful space! I love how you were able to pivot and make the tiling work/look even better than planned! As an American I have 2 questions- 1. Do you plan for storage of shower products? I don’t see any niches in the shower? 2. I know you didn’t end up going with the paneling, but it seems like throughout the renovation you’ve added a lot of paneling. Is there a reason for that beyond style? This is unusual to me because where I am everyone is ripping their paneling out as it looks “dated”… it’s been really interesting to see how different areas in the world approach at different finishes

There’s enough shelf space next to the bath in this shower. And the paneling is for looks, but it’s also a much stronger finish less prone to damage. ⚡️

We were planning to spay all ceilings, but ended up out of sequence in other rooms. Some rooms had floors down before gyprock went in. Spraying is quicker if you can mask off everything you need to quickly, but rollings is way less prep time. The joys of building in the last 12 months...
