I love old pine floorboards and can be stained darker but oak parquet looks good. So glad you kept shelves and fireplace as traditional features a must - very English.

They were, but unfortunately there were huge gaps between the floorboards and the color was too orange!

Sanding original floorboards is hard work and dirty. Plus you have to mix sawdust with glue to fill in all the gaps 🥴 allegedly! Why not get a new parquet floor!! Good thinking 😊😄

The whole apartment looks fantastic with the new updates. I love the silverware drawer, in fact, I'm going to design one for my home now. Also, really love how the dishes slide away in drawers. Hey and taking that arch out in the kitchen did wonders for both adjacent rooms. Great job. So fresh & pretty and so classy. Enjoy.

Its beautiful and immaculate. Good storage in the kitchen and great table and banquette. Youll need a ladder to reach the cupboards - me too.. Dont worry about the white sofa as lve always had them since 1992, but keep a throw tucked onto the seat. Just saves hassle 🧡💚😉

You have done a great job adding soft feminine touches yet it is a pad in London that looks okay for a modern 35 to 45 year old bachelor who has some money to have a cleaning woman who cooks and does laundry as well that vibe. It can also be in New York City, USA. All the best. Note: how did you built the bathroom? Did you add a sunken tub or is it just a tall shower with beveled glass doors and the subway tiles up to the ceiling? Thanks for sharing what a lovely hostess and pretty well educated woman you are.
