I have stopped watching this subscription channel. It seems that Jackson's believe showing 600k, all the way to 1million home is fishing someone to call and buy.. It's that so? you really have a greater percentage of buyers wanting to buy that kind of price ? Lets say the house is 850k, I really don't care if was lower 250k, cause I can't simply afford not only the 600k, but is damn crazy idea to come up with $120k down to avoid PMI, then if the property tax is 2%, that's about 12k a year. Then on top of home insurance in Houston should be also off the roof.
@v8713Ай бұрын
@@alberttom1610 Not to mention flood insurance and the cost of utilities to heat and cool these homes. HOA fees are through the roof too. There sure are a lot of people with money for an economy that gets ripped apart on the financial front often. I make over six figures a year and I can't imagine purchasing a $600K+ home without being absolutely house poor and unable to do anything else BUT pay a mortgage. Crazy world we live in today I think.

That’s a fair point! Texas homes, especially in growing cities like Houston, can seem pricey, but they’re still more affordable compared to many coastal cities like LA or New York. Plus, the state’s lower taxes and cost of living help offset those prices. Do you have a specific budget or area in mind? We can help you explore options that fit!

Do you recommend a new construction home for investment rental property? Curious what the rental market is like for single-family homes in these neighborhoods. We checked out some new areas in Tomball, Conroe, Katy and Fulshear, and it's overwhelming all the different new developments there are.
@houstontexasliving3325 күн бұрын
Great question! New construction homes can be a solid investment for rental properties, especially in growing areas like Tomball, Conroe, Katy, and Fulshear. These neighborhoods are seeing high demand for single-family rentals, but it’s important to consider factors like property appreciation, rental income potential, and HOA restrictions. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by all the developments, we’d be happy to help you narrow it down based on your investment goals. JoJo has deep knowledge of these areas, and Jackson can even help us create a custom video tour to compare options. Let us know how we can assist!

That’s a great observation! Adding pulls or handles to the cabinets can definitely improve both the functionality and the overall look of the kitchen. It’s an easy upgrade that many homeowners choose to customize to their taste. What kind of style would you go for-sleek modern pulls or something more classic?

You think 2025 wilp be a sellers or buyers market?
@houstontexasliving3328 күн бұрын
The Houston real estate market is expected to become more favorable for buyers in 2025. Projections indicate a slight decline in home values, with Zillow forecasting a 1.1% decrease by mid-2025. (Norad Real Estate) Additionally, mortgage rates are anticipated to average around 5.5% by the end of 2025, potentially increasing buyer activity. The inventory of homes for sale has been rising, providing buyers with more options and greater negotiating power. (Home Buying Institute) These trends suggest that 2025 could present advantageous conditions for homebuyers in the Houston area.... The incentives are crazy right now and the Spring time always sees a boost so I don't think we will see these insane incentives last long.

Houston’s affordability comes down to a few key factors. First, the city has abundant land for development, keeping property prices competitive. Second, there are no strict zoning laws, allowing a mix of property types that helps keep costs lower. Houston also encourages new construction, maintaining a steady housing supply. While hurricanes and occasional tornadoes are a reality here, many people feel the benefits-like affordable housing, job opportunities, and vibrant communities-far outweigh the risks. Plus, builders and homeowners take steps to mitigate weather impacts, like hurricane-resistant materials and elevated foundations. Are you curious about home prices, taxes, or how to prepare for Houston’s weather? Let us know!

Not at all! Houston is actually a thriving hub with a lot to offer. It’s the fourth-largest city in the U.S. and is home to world-class dining, arts, shopping, and cultural attractions. Plus, the suburbs like Bridgeland, The Woodlands, and Katy provide a perfect blend of community living with easy access to the city. Houston also boasts two major airports, making it well-connected. Are you curious about what life is like in the city or the surrounding suburbs? We’d love to share more!

Honestly, watched this vlog. Verdict, the kitchen is unworkable, no pulls on the cabinets and how on earth do you access those top cabinets? Need a ladder, ridiculous. Why no cooling in some bedrooms? Those windows are huge and would heat up those rooms in now time. Great in summer...not. The curtains, are they for staging only, if not, again impractical, would give no privacy as don't look wide enough to pull across. Sorry, more in to a practical bungalow style with normal ceiling heights. Oh and how do you change the lights? Need to call an electrician as ceiling to high to reach the lights. Bathrooms look awful, what is the fixation with those dark cabinets and the tiny bathtub and shower curtain. Looks cheap. Overall just a basic predictable house with impractical features throughout.

Thanks so much for watching and sharing your honest thoughts! We always appreciate detailed feedback. Some of your points highlight things buyers often consider, like practicality and functionality, especially with kitchens and ceilings. You’re right-those top cabinets and high ceilings can be tricky for some, but others love the extra storage and open feel. Cooling concerns and window sizes can also be important, especially in Houston’s summers, but many homes have energy-efficient solutions or upgrades available. It sounds like you’re more into a cozy, bungalow-style home with practical layouts, which is a popular choice too! Have you checked out some of our other tours? We feature a variety of homes, and we’d love to help you find something that better fits your style and needs!
