On the cubby roller door you need to tilt the handle before pushing it open, no need to force it

2:25 there is actually a tool free aftermarket frunk. A german company sells them. I ordered this car and will order the aftermarket tub as well for frunk space.

you can change the regenerative braking in the car setting of the IX3. There are four modes adaptive (automatic), high, medium and low.

Couldn't find that option in the menu, but I'm sure it's there. Would have been better if BMW made that something you could change with just one button push on the centre console, but I suppose you could set it up as a short cut. Thanks for watching!

7:17 Is that true ? I don't think that many EVs have fake sound. Plus, the Iconic Sound option on the iX3 is purely for the internal cabin. I don't think pedestrians hear it at all.

I’m pretty sure most of not all of the EVs I’ve driven have had some sort of artificial sound. The external noise usually comes on at low speeds so pedestrians know you’re near by. Thanks for watching!

@@4wheelsandaseat I'll start paying better attention when I see some driving. But it struck me that the ones I saw were dead quiet (no pun intended) except when reversing where they made some slight truck-like beeps. Or maybe it has to do with local regulations (I'm in Europe).

is this review on a M Sport or the M Sport Pro version - on the M Sport there is no Harmon Kardon, No Head up Display either !!lots more tech functionality is missing. My tailgate is not even opening with the kick mode, disappointed !

I'm pretty sure it was just the M Sport. BMW have deleted a few features because of a lack of semi conductors. Thanks for watching.

Really it's not available in the USA? Interesting. I do believe that the version we get is made in China and there are multiple BMW factories in the US, so maybe it has something to do with that. Thanks for watching!
