This is the best deal! Tho, theirs a lot of new beautiful hotels and under constructions hotel going on in Phnom Penh. I guess this is still one of the top deal.

Yes Cambodia is exceptional value. I live in a studio on diamond island the one your looking at between mekong and tonle sap river. Its 350 a month. You're is exceptional. Enjoy your stay.😊

Wow what a great place. Especially precious and good for the soul is the very tasteful design and room architecture, this is extremely professional art. And then, same importance, the look outside the window with the rivers and everything. But I would need an E-scooter to get from one place in this hotel to another like find the gym.

All this for $25? Exceptionally good value by any standard. Phnom Penh just became even more tempting for a visit in early 2024. Hotel name is secret (like the beach) and maybe we get to see outdoor pool next time 😆 Thanks for sharing.

When I look on Google maps, Phnom Penh, Shangri La, I get the Peak Shangri La and very close is the Peak Apartments. So I guess that is where Gladys is.

It really is! I guess it's true that in general southeast asian country still relatively cheap in terms of cost of living. In my experience as a filipina woman travelling Asia I would say Thailand, Cambodia and Indonesia are still the best country to retired.

@@travelwithmoana19 it is true Moana that most of them Asian countries is so cheap to stay and the hotels are so nice aswell and the views are unreal. Here in my country it's really expensive to eat out and stay in hotels aswell. Your room view is so beautiful.

Absolutely! I didn't starve myself since I don't really eat much. I typically eat only once or twice a day. That experiment was just to show you how much it costs to eat in decent places.

That hotel/ apartment is called The Bridge and offered on the sites under different names . Rooms are ok , pools are good , gym is very good with quality equipment. I've stayed there in the past but the area and demographic does not suit me and may well not suit others .

Doesn't look like a luxury hotel at all from the furnishings and amenities but more like an apartment. Is Cambodia safe for travel for Asians? I wanted to travel there as it is really a cheap destination but because of all the human trafficking for their job scams operations where they kidnap Asians and force them to work in call center complexes to scam people of their money or else get brutally tortured, I am hesistant to travel there. China tourists have already boycotted that country (and Southeast Asia in general) due to safety issue so I think those countries are struggling now.
