While Michael and other top mob figures made a lot of money and a few flaunted it, most made mobsters of the past lived in typical little cookie-cutter houses like everyone else. They were stimulated by crime and power, not luxuries.

In school because I'm Italian my friends believe that I'm a Caporegime of the Genovese Family so now everyone is scared of me because they think I'm apparently "best friends with Liborio Salvatore Bellomo" who is the leader of the Genovese Family so yeah I use that to my advantage 😂

Mike's a great story teller. Dude can go on and on telling very detailed and very vivid stories as if he they happened yesterday. If you close your eyes and open your mind as he is speaking Michael can take you back in time with him making you feel as if you're living the story in your mind along with him. He's a great story teller.

Your video reminded me of the last time I saw my dad. We weren’t on bad terms or anything but I was quick to jump down his throat cause he would annoy me sometimes. But the last time I saw him and he was saying something that started to bug me I heard my buddys voice tell me, “your parents won’t be around forever, and it sucks when they’re gone”. So I calmed myself and chatted with him, we went out to eat and talked, had a perfectly lovely evening. I didn’t know that when I hugged him and told him I loved him that it’d be the last time. He passed away 10 days later and on his birthday off all days. But when I think about that last night with him it brings me some peace of mind. I just wish I still had my dad around. That was one of the biggest punches in the gut when my mom, wife, and grandmother sat me down on his birthday and told me he was gone. I was not ready for that, not that anyone ever really is, but God it destroyed me. I’m thankful that I had such a great guy as my dad.

Mr. Frazese I thoroughly enjoy your postings. I'm a single dad raising 2 young kids on my own, and my "relax" time is usually spent on KZbin listening to your stuff. Thanks for your honesty and you have so much of my respect... I can relate to you on some levels... I used to be a "certain way", but I eventually "seen the light" and then I got myself together. Needless to say it wasn't that simple and theres a lot more then that to it, but that's the fast version. Thanks for being out here and again, thanks for your honesty and straightforwardness.

I can sort of relate, Michael. My family (mom's side) were Irish mob in Dallas. As for me, I was a career soldier, then a Sheriff's Deputy. I disagree he comes across totally different to all the other mob guys like Frank Cullota ,Henry Hill etc etc they all swear every second word and their accents and the way the talk etc are just like the mob guy's in the movies as movies like goodfellas and casino were based on their lives. Mike is a lot more articulate, intelligent and the way he talls is sooooo different to a stereotypical mob guy

@@bryanmanuel4945 yeah,I think the first commentator is confusing New York Italian Italian American with mob guy. Mike is obviously Italian American but comes across so much better and more articulate than all the other ex mobsters

Hi Michael. I am a fellow pure bred Italian girl, here from Connecticut. My great grandparents are from Sicily, I grew up with my grandmother, and aunts and uncles speaking fluent Italian to us, cooking so many amazing authentic Italian dishes. The food is my favorite haha 😂. I don't have any mafia affiliation in my family of sorts, but my uncle is the national president/founder and creator of the biker gang, The Diablos. I can relate to the lifestyle in many ways. I really appreciate your demeanor and soft spoken character you relay while telling us your life story. Your stories really help and intrigue me in many ways, you have no idea. Please keep them coming. Sending you my love and prayers. Keep doing what you are doing, please. ❣️ I am a full supporter.

When you mentioned that some people in the comments had asked if you had any regrets and it reminded you of the old blue eyes song "that's life" the song that came to mind was "my way". Regrets I've had a few but then again to few to mention.
