Luxury Linens vs. $100 sheets, there is a difference.

Well, luxury linens may not be for everyone. However, consider: A the cost of dinner at a nice restaurant, a woman's trip to the hair salon, some designer jeans. Bed sheets are something used every night and with proper care can last 10 years. A $100 bottle only lasts an evening and the next day you have little to show for it except, maybe a hangover. the bed sheets has reuse, and reuse for a LOOOONG time, like 10 years time or more so its paying for itself honestly.

I bought some $100 Ralph Lauren sheets in 1998 and they’re amazingly soft now. Wish they still made them but they’re different now. Not the same cotton.

Once you sleep on quality sheets, it’s hard to sleep on anything else. I thought a sheet was a sheet too until chemotherapy led to night sweats and sleepless nights. After investing a few hundred into my linen sheets I have two sets purchased so I can rotate, but expect they will last a long time, and get softer with each wash cycle.

Your video is extremely misleading, I'm Egyptian and I personally have linens at home that I've had for over 10 years so far and still as good as new.

Mohamed, the message of the video is - there is likely ten times more sheets labeled Egyptian Cotton than actually are made from Egyptian cotton (EC). Good grades of EC are very durable and EC is some of the finest cotton grown. However, as we state in the video, sheets selling for $100 are likely not EC.
